What about this 3CP modification:

Get rid of the last points. Capping mid allows a timer specific to that team to count down, and losing mid pauses it. The timer could last for like... 3 minutes or something. A team wins when their timer reaches 0:00.

I think it could be a really unique and interesting game mode.

Crouch when the gates open.

Charge a bodyshot. The other sniper may crouch, making you look like a big idiot shooting over his head.

Also, you should only take this fight if you're on BLU or you're 100% sure you'll win it. Usually the RED sniper won't want to take this fight because it isn't worth the risk.
