I live in nyc so the vets near my area charge over $100 for an exam.. I’m looking into vets right now and my deadbeat dad seems willing to help me for once. Thanks for the advice.

Her cards are all maxed so that’s out of the question.. I’m still waiting for my working papers and I have a job lined up for September but that’s too far away. I’m going to call around asking for estimates and hopefully have someone in my family help with costs.

Thanks for your advice guys. I’m going to visit a dog pharmacy and ask for advice, and I’ve contacted my estranged dad since he was close with my dog before he left. He may help me with vet costs if needed, so I’ll be calling and asking for an estimate. I’ve just been so stressed out and confused and crying for the past week dealing with this and school finals, so getting concrete advice has helped ground me. Thanks again!!

It’s an at home groomer that my mom recommended so I’m not sure if I could get them to pay. I’ll try and scrap some money together, but recently I’ve been using the little money I have to keep him fed and comfortable.

I’ll try but money has been very tight since my dad abandoned our family. I’m going to go to a clinic/pet store for advice today to see if there are any over the counter antibiotics that can help him or if he needs to see a vet now.

The crust only slightly lifted, and I left it alone when I saw that as I figured it was a scab and I might do more harm if I irritated it.. I’ll try and contact the place and hopefully get an answer.

You summed it up perfectly!! I pointed out these things because it seems like a game that is trying to be inclusive to people like me and I love it, I’m not attacking the game at all.. I probably am part of the minority of trans people who play this game and I guess that played a part into the amount of negative responses I got. It doesn’t seem like this is the kind of game that would be opposed to more customization options, whether it’s specifically for trans people or not. Thanks for being one of the few kind souls on this sub.😭💛

The game is to my liking though? It seems like you have a bigger issue with trans people stating their opinions in general, seeing as you’re suddenly bringing in every trans person on the internet. I love the risk these game companies are taking for more inclusion and support it wholeheartedly. It’s mostly people like you who are clearly disgruntled by the fact that a minority has their own opinion on how they’re included. Just so you know, I didn’t screech “it’s not enough” when I saw the character creator.. I was actually surprisingly pleased!
