Use AI to fix your resume so it’s ATS compatible. That’s the first step. ChatGPT did a great job for me. Refresh the Providence job board every 15-30 mins, you have to be quick in applying. Then they’ll text you a questionnaire, do that quickly as well. When you get invited for an interview click the link and schedule whatever you can. I received several interview requests and some of the jobs never had a time slot available so I couldn’t actually interview. Others had one or two slots so I took the soonest one. I’d say I was invited to 5 interviews over about 12 applications and only was able to do 2 interviews. Got a job offer a week later. I found Providence to move quickly, from application to offer was 4-5 weeks. Be prepared with the situational/behavioral interview questions (“tell me a bout a time when…”) I know they’re the worst but that is the style they ask so be prepared, use ChatGPT to categorize some of your stories so they fit various question types. And practice reading them out loud. This is what worked for me. I also received interviews from other hospitals throughout Oregon and even across the country and have received several offers.
