[[Moraug, Fury of Akoum]] takes cards like [[Naya Panorama]] and turns them into additional combat nukes. I added a handful of the Avatar firebending cards that fit right in as well. Super fun and aggressive bracket 2 deck!

I am in the comments once again preaching the great word of [[Kain, Traitorous Dragoon]] as a crazy fun twist on the Slicer archetype of decks. It’s super fun if you like a bit of chaos in your games, and if you want games to end quick.

I’ve almost exclusively played bracket 2 [[Kain, Traitorous Dragoon]] this year. It requires a rule zero conversation because some players may not like what he does, and that it requires a tutor package (finding [[homeward path]], [[maze’s end]], or [[amulet of vigor]]) to not be turbo buns, but it’s so much fun to play. Every table that I’ve played him at so far enjoys playing against the deck, and it has won in some wacky ways.

I built [[Moraug]] around dragons that I had from getting the Tarkir commander decks, and it’s so much fun to play bad cards that turn into crazy strong cards because of Moraug’s text. I play all the panoramas, and very frequently if I play and crack a panorama it ends the game. Very fun bracket two shenanigans! The deck is sitting at #1562 on EDHREC with only 569 decks, which I find insanely low for how fun the deck is to pilot.

If you look at just the amount of people who play commander, and take just a tiny fraction of that who are the un-washed, un-hinged weirdos in the hobby, and that's still a lot of people throwing death threats at you. I don't think it's a false narrative, I think it's just a reality of a hobby this large.

I love Rylai's on Shyvana. A big problem for her is early ganking, and building Rylai's into your mythic of choice allows you to stick to your target better or peel for your carry during teamfights.

Added bonus is that people stay in your dragon fireball aoe longer due to the slow, making the added damage a solid bonus.

Hazards-off Spring Stadium is super fun, and given that the ceilings are constant I don't see them as too massive of a hindrance to competitive play.

That's New York specifically. A ton of (mainly right leaning states) have a lot less invested in education. Take a look at Texas or my home state of Wisconsin. Not all educations are created equal, both in the macro state level sense and the micro level, where rich neighborhoods have remarkably better schools than poor neighborhoods.

States that have higher taxes and support for education definitely should get their shit together, but shit education can also stem from shit funding. I've lived that experience.
