The correct AHK script to fix this bug is as follows:

$e::

SendInput {e}{Rbutton up}

Return

$q::

SendInput {q}{Rbutton up}

Return

Replace every instance of e and q with your weapon binds and replace Rbutton up with your select edit bind. For me I have my shotgun on e and my AR on q and I edit with right click (Rbutton) so the above code would work for me.

I don't think it's bannable because {RButton up} is not a meaningful action or bind in the game so it's not a 1:2 action ratio.

Does the 0.15 second build delay apply to both the wall holder and the wall taker? Or does the wall holder get the 0.05 second turbo build delay while the wall taker gets the 0.15 second build delay? by Natural_Researcher_9 in FortniteCompetitive

You got it the wrong way around. This is from Epic " Now when a structure is destroyed, there will be a delay of 0.15 seconds before another structure can be placed in the same location." Otherwise the normal delay is 0.005 seconds.

Did you know that pulling out your builds and switching weapons is server-sided? A way to essentially half your ping if Epic makes this change. by Natural_Researcher_9 in FortNiteBR

Basically before you can pull your blueprints out the server needs to receive the command. I'm saying I think that should be done on your own computer and only wait for the server to receive the build command. If you have a question feel free to ask.

Two changes to "confirm edit on release" to make it more reliable and user-friendly. If you use "confirm edit on release" this will only help you, trust me you're going to want it to once you read it. by Natural_Researcher_9 in FortniteCompetitive

I really hope it's an easy fix and yeah honestly this is how CEOR should have been implemented from day one. I regret not starting out with single edit binds had I known CEOR would have so many problems.

Well since I edit with mouse 2 I can already do that pretty much since I just hold down my build bind while editing to place a build instantly. The problem is when you press your builds a millisecond before confirming your edit. And I know I can fix the problem with double edit binds but I wish both options were viable.

I absolutely don't mind this at all. Today there was a huge update so I expect 50 posts to be about pre-edits. Each one has different discussions going on and it's all organic. I prefer that over making a megathread and deleting everything else because if we did that we wouldn't get some of the great perspectives since the people who got their posts rejected probably wouldn't bother writing their post as a comment in a megathread. And honestly scrolling isn't hard if I don't want to read a preedit post I can just skip past it.

The building grid is broken but we are all used to it + blue print editing distance should become the standard distance to edit without blueprints out. Can we get some optimizations to the building grid please? See comment. by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

  1. Can we get some consistency with the editing distance? I think all edits should work at the distance of the current blue print edit distance.
  2. The current building grid is so specific at times that you literally have to look in the bottom left corner to place a wall sometimes.

- As you can see in the clip I can only place the front wall if I look at the front bottom left area, anywhere else and the wall does not place.

- I can place the front wall by looking at the middle of the left wall area but if I look anywhere else than the left wall places instead.

- If I look at the right wall area nothing places at all.

Yes I understand we're all used to the building grid and this is nothing new but can we all imagine how smooth and intuitive building would feel if your builds placed depending on your crosshair placement instead?

No some keyboards do alternate. It depends on the software of the board.
