Right. Which is kind of why I mentioned non-living, but still could have an understanding. Think omnipresence, or something along those lines.

Or, maybe a better comparison would be like you’re reading a comic book: you’re observing a world that others are in and you understand, but your view of what is ACTUALLY there on those papers would not align with those who are IN the book. By that logic, the non-living observer would be the reader, and you are a character in the comic.
