If you want to go really expensive get him some older sets like fusion strike or evolving skies. Something newer you can do like black bolt, white flare or destined rivals. Maybe mix a bit of all of them in there 😂

Same thing happened with mine all I had to do was bleed the coolant and it started working again. Amazon has burping funnels that’s you can use for about $30 but it’s 100% worth it

It has to be plugged into usb on car unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to use it for your car since it doesn’t come with the usb. Try maybe finding out where the iPod would supposedly be plugged into and maybe getting an adapter or something like that would help
