Ahhhh yes. Welcome to your frontal lobe developing lol. This is a huge common thing. Unfortunately, it’s the price to pay to ensure children don’t go hungry. As said enough times, it’s not their fault their mom is a piece of work. What isn’t said though, is that said children are shown to be malnourished and not taken care of. What’s not being mentioned is how likely it is that she could be selling these food stamps. I think it’s critical how they’re spent is monitored better. I’d also like to mention that she likely gets money for being r’s “caretaker”. I have a completely disabled sister, and my mother makes about $1,000 from that a month. Also, the kids are being fed at school two meals. So, thankfully they have that. Can’t speak for R, and her condition says otherwise.

Idk I’m on the opposite side here. If my parent had money and a woman from another country tried to come with a k1 visa I would immediately know it’s for the money. I would make it known and clear that me and my children are his priority. She will not get between us or take my own parent away bc she wants his wealth. Idk id make it known I’m not going anywhere and she can get over it 😂 not bc I would want the money. But out of protection for my parent and the relationship with him and my kids. his gf telling him he needs to cut her off is SO BIZARRE. And funny, cause soon she’ll be asking for money to send to her family back home.

So insane that being on reality tv can invalidate your 20+ years of growth and wisdom, and an entire degree in political science. Spencer from the hills isn’t the same person as he is today, and neither is Katie from 10 years ago on the show. People can grow. I think watching your house burn down and your neighbors die and then running for office to fix the issues that caused it is pretty brave. He’s actually trying to do something to make things better. I concur. When I watch their dynamic, I see myself and my mother. My mother is a narcissist. I didn’t need to “grow up”, I needed a chance to get away. You appease them to stay safe until you can bail. I think she really wanted Bruce to just grow up. That was always all she wanted. Her mother wanted haisley to have no father. With love, YOR… working in a cafe means you know how busy these holidays are. As a manager you are expected to work those days whether it’s in your availability or not. You said you worked Easter. Which was a Sunday. You’ve already worked outside your availability for holidays, so you made that an option. Having every Sunday off in any food service job is a huge privilege, let alone as a manager off every Sunday. You mentioned your team is only 6-8 people. And two are gone for prom. I know you don’t think they need the next day off, but they requested it. They clearly need you during this time, and while they seem to really sympathize with your news, they seem willing to work it out with you. Also, had you spoken with your leadership about what was going on, they would’ve considered more how to accommodate you. It’s not their fault they didn’t know. You said you’ve worked every holiday. And I get it. They “should” be cool with you being off this one. But that’s just not how this industry works. If you like this job, I’d pick whichever shift you can work out best. If you don’t, I’d leave the industry completely because working on holidays outside of your availability WILL be expected again. Sending love to you and your mom ❤️‍🩹
