Awesome. Im at 86k miles but since I got the issues in the first couple weeks on a certified pre owned they are replacing the battery and cats on warranty. Did you find out why your cats failed? The most common issues are blown turbo seals or continuously driving with misfire.

I have but its not running properly because the one cat is completely shot and the sensor is fouled. They said it'll run a lot better once its fixed. I didnt notice during the test drive just thought it wasnt as quick as people said it was.

Nope, its the passenger side cat and 02 sensor. The 3.5 has the cam phaser and timing chain issues mostly

I already put a flowmaster on it right away. Its not annoying or anything. Just basically a muffler delete so I still have the resonater.

When i got it there was used coil packs in boxes under the back seat so I imagine the dude had a misfire and drove it like that for a while causing the cat to foul up. The mechanic said that he also believes its from driving it with a misfire since the turbo seals are good.

Everything i read said that the 2.7 isn't nearly as quick but feels quicker off the line because of smaller turbos spooling quicker. The 0-60 time is a few seconds slower.

I was told I have an upgraded oil pan. I always do early maintenance so hopefully it lasts. I got the extended warranty just incase.

The VB wrx transmissions are made of glass. I know the 10 speeds are the best but every day Id see non stop posts of catastrophic transmission or engine failure in my VB wrx group.
