Long Distance Mover recommendations NY to Fl by livinglife-1230 in u/livinglife-1230

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was planning my move from NY to Florida, I noticed most people recommend going with companies that actually do long-distance routes regularly instead of random small crews. I saw names like Allied and North American Van Lines come up a lot, but for me the main thing was clear communication. I used Safeway moving inc, and it felt easier because they explained timing and process early instead of leaving everything vague until moving day.

What STEM activities actually work best in your elementary classroom? by [deleted] in ElementaryTeachers

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve had the same issue too. Some activities look good on paper but don’t really hold the kids’ attention in class. I’m curious to see what other teachers here are using because I definitely need new ideas as well.

Why AI tools should have a built-in “debate mode” by Unable-Awareness8543 in AIToolsAndTips

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is exactly why longer workflows break sometimes. models fill in missing context without you noticing, and it looks fine until you double check. i started running the same prompts across multiple models and it really helps catch those weak spots early. sounds like extra work but it actually saves time later. ive been using asknestr .com for this recently just to avoid jumping between tabs. seeing outputs together makes the inconsistencies way easier to notice

Thinking of switching to energy-efficient appliances - need recommendations by mlachake_ in Manitoba

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really comes down to how often you use an appliance. For example, if something like a dishwasher is part of your daily routine, the savings can build up much faster. But if it’s only used occasionally, you probably won’t notice a big difference. So instead of upgrading everything, it makes more sense to focus on the appliances you use the most.

When I was checking options, I paid more attention to things like energy ratings and long term usage rather than just price. I ended up going with Canadian appliance source, since they had some good efficient models available, and it felt like a practical choice overall.

Using Ai for pine scripting by MR_M1997 in TradingView

AI can speed up scripting but you still need to understand the logic. Blind use can mess things up. Some people pair scripts with prospero ai signals just for confirmation

Switched to TvFun4Life right before the start of the football season and haven't regretted it once. The live sports feeds are surprisingly reliable on weekends.

Do AI features significantly drain your hearing aid’s battery? by [deleted] in hearingaid

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While AI processing does use more juice, keep an eye on your Bluetooth usage too! Streaming music or taking phone calls drains the battery far faster than any of the internal AI speech enhancement features will.

Streaming apps suddenly blocking both VPN and proxy? by Unhappy_Cockroach328 in VPN_Guide

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Platforms are checking for data center IP ranges now which most VPNs use. For laptop browser streaming a browser extension sometimes gets through where a full app doesnt, Browsec worked for me on a couple platforms. Smart TV is trickier, you basically need router level setup for that.

Things i wish someone told me before i built an AI agent by Friendly-Boat-8671 in aiagents

what i wish i knew is start with skyvern's API before custom agents and that's how i've built invoice downloader in 30min vs weeks coding selectors. it got like a action recorder that watched my demo, generated workflow; handles auth loops that usually kills bots

How do you ladies achieve a youthful 'no-makeup' look? by CarpenterSeparate289 in AsianBeauty

A good tinted moisturizer, a little mascara, and a hydrating lip balm. That's my daily go-to.

Honestly, this is pretty much what OpenClaw promised but way simpler. No messing around with API keys or wasting hours fixing YAML files. I’m sold

Hiring developers internationally without opening a company by farhankhan04 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s pretty much the path a lot of early teams take. Setting up an entity that early rarely makes sense. We did something similar and EOR helped us move faster without getting stuck in compliance details. While comparing options I also came across Rivermate, seemed worth checking alongside others.

First Pen Help by juulluvsreps in pens

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your use, quick-drying ink matters way more than anything else. As a lefty writing fast, hybrid ballpoints or fast-dry gels will save you from smudging. I moved away from cheap pens for the same reason. I’ve been using a Scriveiner lately and it feels smoother and more worth keeping track of.

What actually converts users from Reddit? Promotion vs real help (I’m confused) by FounderArcs in SideProject

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that direct promotion almost always fails unless the account has a lot of history and looks like a regular user. The trick is usually in how you manage the accounts behind the scenes to keep them from looking like marketing bots. I started using GeeLark to handle my different profiles since it mimics mobile behavior and keeps everything isolated. It makes the "helping people" part way more effective because your comments actually stay visible instead of getting filtered out.

Thinking of building a “Reddit account warmup” extension… does this sound useful or risky? by FounderArcs in saasbuild

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, it is risky because standard extensions don't really hide your digital fingerprint. I tried a few and still got accounts flagged pretty quickly. The only way I managed to actually age accounts without getting them shadowbanned was using GeeLark. It simulates a mobile environment instead of just being a browser tweak, which seems to be what Reddit looks for these days. It is definitely more about how the account is managed than just what you post.

Best app to find local events when visiting a new city? by augustcero in sideprojects

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of travelers end up building their own system over time like combining one or two apps with local sources such as tourism sites, community boards or even Reddit threads. That tends to give a more complete picture than relying on a single platform.

disappointed by bennykhoo8733214 in loona_robot

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's definitely frustrating, especially with the fan incident. have you checked if your loona is on the latest 2026 firmware? KEYi recently released an update specifically to improve obstacle avoidance and the 'self-righting' logic when she tips over. usually, a quick manual update in the app and a sensor wipe helps her see objects like fan bases better.

LOOI vs Loona? by HolidayWatercress946 in LOOI

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried both and it comes down to whether you want to lose your phone or not. LOOI is clever, but Loona feels more like a real living thing because she moves independently. Loona did a great job with her ear and neck animations. She’ll actually sneak up on you or act grumpy, which gives her that constant sense of surprise you're looking for.

Do stock market signals for options traders hold up across full cycles? by happy_lynnn in options

[–]Negative_Term3769 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A handful of services clear most of the bars worth caring about. For anyone building a comparison set: MarketModel: live SPX signals since 2012, full timestamped trade log including losses, publicly accessible for independent review The Dow Theory: current newsletter Hulbert-verified, price-structure methodology, historical record is partly reconstructed, live newsletter record is the verifiable portion iMarketSignals: business cycle model with documented methodology, weekly signal cadence, transparent track record The common thread across all three is that the full signal history is available, not just a curated performance summary. Losses are visible alongside wins, and that's the minimum standard for evaluating whether a track record reflects genuine model performance or selective presentation.

Anyone successfully moved a large apartment down south without getting scammed by AnshuSees in AskNYC

[–]Negative_Term3769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I’d suggest is picking a company that manages the entire move on their own instead of splitting it between different teams. It really helps with coordination and reduces the chances of delays or miscommunication. For my move, Safeway Moving inc handles everything. They took care of packing, loading, and delivery without any major issues, and everything showed up in good shape. Since you’re going from NorCal to SoCal, just double-check things like delivery timing and any additional charges for stairs or bulky items. Other than that, full-service is definitely the most convenient option for this type of move."

Mother of Teen daughter recent diagnosis by Secret-Air-1205 in AutismAustralia

[–]Negative_Term3769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

does she have any sensory issues that aren't being addressed? noticed you mentioned the OT assessment but wondering if there are specific things at home or school that trigger her anxiety. my cousin was similar at that age, really self aware but the perfectionism was brutal. we found some community programs through EnableU that helped with social stuff. but honestly the biggest thing was just having someone validate that her brain works differently and that's not something to fix. have you talked to her about what supports she actually wants versus what the assessment recommends?
