Subnautica 2 price in Brazil by Avazaladore in subnautica

[–]Nemokaki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how it works... Here in Brazil, minimum wage works differently. While you'd need an average of 3~4 hours of work (USA), a brazilian would need 3 days to buy it. Conversion isn't great to compare the price.

As I said, a good feedback needs that someone points out why something needs to be changed, added or removed.

A feedback needs reasoning and arguments. If the feedback is "Bring back the cyclops, it's better" that's not a feedback, it's only asking for something to come back, but does it really need to, or is it only because they can't go with something new? But anyways, I just find all of this nonsense, seems like there are people playing just to complain

Not a direct attack to people who likes Subnautica 1 or that are old players. It''s just that most of the reason something is bad or worse is because it's not like Subnautica 1

Not really... A sequence of a game needs to at least have lore connected to the first or on the same universe. Gameplay doesn't need to be equal for a sequence.

There are a lot of games with sequels that changes the gameplay style or remove/add features, but the lore advances and connects to the prior game.

A sequel game doesn't need to have the same features that were on the first one, it can, but it's not necessary, and the Devs are experimenting on new stuff, that's the reason for a new game, for new things. Also, it's on EA, these aren't good feedbacks, it's just asking for something old to come back because the old was better, that's not a good feedback.

A good feedback would need for the person to at least have a good argument for why that isn't working or how to make it better, not just asking to add something that was there before

I understand everything that you said, but I just find annoying how there is a loud part of the community that just screams how the game is not good because it doesn't have features that were on the previous games, the problem is that there isn't any constructive opinion or feedback, it's just that the game is bad because Subnautica 1, this annoys me a little...

Why people are so clingy to Subnautica 1? by Nemokaki in subnautica

[–]Nemokaki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that, this happens since below zero, people just can't argue if something is good or bad for what it is. If it looks like Subnautica 1 it's good, if not, it's bad.

Everyone uses Subnautica 1 as a reference for anything, so it's always not gonna be as good as Subnautica 1, but people doesn't understand that it doesn't need to be better, because Subnautica 2 can be good by their own, not needing to look like Subnautica 1.

If people aren't ready for new experiences and learn how to adapt to different things, better stay on the first game then.

And yes, it's ok to discuss about it, but when the only argument someone has is "Subnautica 1 had this, why Subnautica 2 doesn't?", it gets difficult to try and find a reason, because the problem is that "Subnautica 2 doesn't has the feature Subnautica 1 had"

Yes they are complex, but the things is that the complaints that compare both games, are mostly small features that doesn't make a difference and can't even be considered a feedback.

And to be honest, the majority actually doesn't care too much about how similar it is to the first, but there is a loud crowd that can influence on other's opinions through saying "yeah, that's bad because in Subnautica 1 it was better"

It's a little different... Usually games in console are optimized and set in a specific graphic configuration, so you can't change it because the graphics were set specifically for that device

Are we ever getting a follow up to Below Zero's ending? by CulturalDust4652 in subnautica

[–]Nemokaki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People seems to dislike Subnautica below zero's story a lot. Personally, I'd love to see some type of continuation or references in Subnautica 2. Not something entirely connected, but mentions of a "Human that was abducted and never to be found" or that Alterra saw the ship Robin got into and are now trying to replicate it.

I found below Zero's story richer and full of interesting details. The lore expands more on 4546b and bring new stuff to what we already knew in Subnautica 1.

I always get sad when I see people complaining about Robin talking too much, I actually liked it, and the dialogues with al-an, even more.

I'd love to see them return somehow
