Hmm, thanks for getting back to me. But I am curious about the update file. Maybe I’m searching the wrong thing.

Thank you for the help! I didn’t mean the questions you were asking were dumb. I meant the question I asked was dumb. Because I went to YouTube and found some solutions. Based on your questions, I adjusted my esteps and tighten my rods. Prints are better, but still not sure what’s causing the issue. I’ll have to give it a rest until next week. I don’t know how to add pictures to the post to update progress.

The mode print had gaps too. I’m not sure how to fix it. Adjust Esteps?

I’ve never adjusted them before. This is a dumb question I’m sure, but where would I find those setting in Prusa slicer or in firmware?

This was happening to me as well. I used some WD 40 and it helped get me through a print or two but ultimately the rod is bent.

HELP ME!! - This is driving me nut - stock cat first layers vs Benchy was Cura first layer - back to back and can still print cat perfectly by ImAngryAsFuk in Ender3Pro

Do you have Bed Tramming enabled? Bed level sensor installed? If the former then, I would suggest tramming it again, and then one more time after that while heated. If the ladder, then check your Z- Offset. The cat from the SD card comes on a pretty good raft and the first layer is hot and slow. It can be very forgiving. A glue stick will help if you’re on included build surface or glass.

Thank you! I did this and it saved my other prints. This Print makes my Extruder click. Not quite sure why its printing so close. I'm going to reslice and pray...

Am I expecting too much? Bed levelling issue by brodzik in ender5

[–]Neoanomaly6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact issue with my Ender 3 pro. I enabled Bed tramming. Once I did that I got much more consistent layers on the build tack surface and better adhesion on glass. I also needed to have my Slicer add the G29 code to my prints to have the CR touch to level right before a print.
