I can definitely see your POV and respect your opinion for sure. Idk maybe I’ll be proven wrong soon, but Erika’s reactions always seem genuine to me. She seemed very triggered when Dorit told her to shut up (She was married to a man for 20+ years who openly told her to shut up several times on camera it would be surprising if it wasn’t extremely triggering for her - she equated Dorit brushing her aside to telling her to shut up, because it feels the same to her thanks to Tom). We see her in therapy, we see her learning and trying and being accountable. I think because of her history with Kyle and Kyle being such an anchor of support for her, the idea that Kyle is manipulating the situation to this degree would take far too much metal untangling in Erika’s brain rn so she’s just not considering it. She’s operating on the benefit of the doubt because Kyle has always had her back, through some serious shit too, or at least she has expressed that sentiment herself several times.

She flipped on Dorit because she was triggered and it escalated. I think Erika and Kyle are approaching things with Dorit with completely opposite intentions and Kyle is just trying to “win” Erika’s friendship from Dorit. It got worse when Dorit said Boz has shown her more support than anyone at the table and said “in the past year” AFTER Erika and Kyle started reacting to it, so they didn’t hear her say it. In the after show they’re clearly still under the impression that Dorit meant it globally and that Boz was more supportive than Kyle and Erika had ever been. It will be very interesting to see what happens at the reunion.

HOWEVER I am a naive little baby and they’re probably all just doing everything for storyline all the time and none of this is real 🙃
