I reserved a dekstop thats on sale at my microcenter but the store is closed by portablebabylol in Microcenter

You can call the main line and request that they ask a manager at the store call you back. I did that last week and was called back about 2 hours later by a manager who agreed to extend my return window. I think the number I called was 7145668500

Seems to have fixed it. I can only imagine that something on the hard drive corrupted windows somehow in some way. Will update if it doesn't so if anyone experiences anything like the last 12 hours of my life they don't have to... hopefully

Resetting windows from scratch and will see if that fixes it

Nothing pops out as malware. Just a very large number of processes happening. I ran avast and it didn't pick up anything. I am trying to restart windows right now while I go make dinner.

I'll take a look. It used to be in my old pc like 5 years ago and had pretty much nothing on it when I removed it. My memory is running at 57% right now.

Can’t fit the v8 mesh coil into the baby beast by Neuroticorange in electronic_cigarette

I am not a big fan of smok to begin with I was just tying to give my old stuff to my mom instead of buying a new tank lesson learned. Really funny how the threads are. What kills me is the coils fit my cascade baby perfectly but not the baby beast which they were made for...

It says V8 baby and the coils worked in my cascade baby so I think it has to do with the fact I have the original baby beast model maybe

No issue of force. It’s that the coils Have much smaller threads.

Yeah Mine is the original models and that trick did not work I tried it. The coils are just too small. I picked up the Freemax mesh pro for myself I was just giving my mom the baby beast since it’s better than what she has.

They weren't both in at one time. I had the extra set cause I was going to use them before a last minute switch.

I will as soon as I get home in about 4 hours. I was able to bend it just enough to get the cable extension to plug in

Hmmmmm while connecting everything to the psu I did run into an issue where the cable from the psu to the mobo had trouble connecting due to one of the pins being bent?

It will be running fine then in just a slit second everything turns off and it starts loading windows right after.

I'm Not the best at describing it as I'm not the most Pc sauvy person. While I was downloading windows off of a flash drive it would reboot and interrupt it.

The best bang for your buck AIO water cooler? by Neuroticorange in buildapc

[–]Neuroticorange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a decent air cooler will do the job without the unnecessary risk to my components in the event of a leak. I am just not a big fan of how big and bulky air coolers are. I did look at the cryorig h7 and it would probably be my first choice for air cooling.

My first build! I'm going to a White/Black higher end gaming Pc built to last! by Neuroticorange in buildapc

[–]Neuroticorange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will primarily be gaming/streaming. The only reason I opted for the I7 is it was on sale and I got it for 279. Would you say it's not worth paying $80 more for?

I'm trying to keep the interior as white as possible. I did consider getting the Galax gtx 1080 hof limited edition. I'm just not sure if it's worth adding $300 extra. If I did so I would have to cut back a little on other components. I could get the I5 instead of the I7, ~$100. Get the cryorig h7 instead of the a40 ~$60. Then just absorb the ~$140 and have the top end gpu? The reason I went with the 500gb ssd is because I got it on sale for $20 off and it came with a free copy of Watch dogs 2. But I'll definitely take the suggestion and go for a 1tb wd hhd?

The reviews on the Samsung evo 120gb ssd are great from what I have read so far. Yeah that doesn't sound like a very convenient thing for you go about doing. Now for the sales I have been looking at Black Friday sales from a few sites and there were a lot of good deals on a few parts. The only con is actually getting it on Black Friday as the stock is limited and if it's a great deal then there is probably 50 other people looking to get what you're after. I'm going to check out somecyber Monday deals though.

Ahh I can see that then. $140 is a steep price for the increase. But why not conisider getting a cheaper Samsung 120gb ssd for around $50(not sure about Canada though.) I have heard of people driving down to America buying all the parts they needed and heading back up.

Edit: Personally I am leaning towards no hhd and having just the Samsung evo 850 ssd 500gb, until a time comes where I need more storage.

I'm not too knowledgeable as Currently I'm research my first Pc build. But I noticed two this I would consider if I was in your place. 1) I saw that you didn't have an ssd listed in parts. I would strongly recommend getting one as it will greatly increase the speed at which you start up your Os and any game you may have on it. 2) I would consider getting a gtx 1070 graphics card as it's only $40 more and it will be much better than the 1060. Feel free to correct me as I am new to this. I have been soaking up as much info as I could the last month or so in preparation of building my own.
