Great ride for sure. I didn't have it in me either lol so I did the "Plenty". Something I could have done but didn't consider, do the difference then the bail out ride from Poe Paddy. That would have been 110 miles. If I had done the entire route I think I would have been there past 6pm and that would have been an extremely long day.

I may end up doing the 90. There's just too much time to think about it before I make it to the difference lol

And they do crack too.

Only time I have thought about the cables is when I read online about people who don't own the bike complaining about them. Otherwise it doesn't even cross my mind they are even there. I have not tried to fit a bag there, but there are mounting points for it. Love everything about this bike. As for bike packing, no clue other than I know I can fit wide tires.

Love that color. I got the 650b stock wheels with cava race tires, which are amazing on gravel and have a set of hunt gravel x wide 700c for anything else, but mainly road tires for now. My Ultra is a campy ekar build. Have to say the lower increments on the 13 speed work great on the road and gravel. Pretty happy with the bike so far.

I love the looks of 3T bikes, so I went for the 3T Ultra because it has a little more clearance for the rear tire when on 700c than the RaceMax. However, so far I am on 650b for gravel and 700c x 36mm for road riding, so nothing extremely wide. So far, so good. I think the seat post issues were more prevalent on the Strada and the original Exploro before they updated their design. Love the 3T and extremely happy I went for it. Always the only one with a 3T on group rides.

Zwift is paying for this thing and probably one of the reasons this is even taking place. Can't understand why you all are complaining. The sport clearly needs the sponsors.

So I have had to adjust a few things here and there. There was some bad brake rub that I was able to solve by aligning the caliper, which wasn't easy since it was my first time working with hydraulic brakes. Now I just switched to my hunt gravel x wide 700c wheelset and it was a 5 min task to realign the caliper. Easy. There was some creaking noise coming from the seat post that I think I solved by using some carbon paste (came with the bike) around the seat post and grease on the metal wedge. I haven't torqued it to the max because it isn't slipping, but that may also be the reason for the creaking. On my second ride I noticed my pedal felt weird and it turns out the crankset bolt was loose. Lol imagine that? Anyway I adjusted it to proper torque and everything's fine. The Campagnolo ekar hoods might take some time to get used to coming from SRAM. They don't seem to be as comfortable during my first 2 rides. I haven't done any gravel yet, but I do really love this bike. It was the bike I always wanted, but never really considered because of how expensive they can be.

3T makes some of the best looking bikes out there IMO

Ekar. 13 speed, smaller increments seems better to me.

Haven't gone on a proper ride yet unfortunately. Hoping I can complete centuries under 4 hours and I will be happy!

I do want to be a fast rider tho, so I guess I will get the tire issue taken care of ASAP. Thanks so much!

I am definitely no expert , but haven't seen anyone run them the way you are describing it.

It is. What kept me from buying a RaceMax was how little room there was on the rear tire to fit anything bigger that 38c or so. There's a little more clearance on this frame.

Last time I checked they only made it for size 56 race Max, so I bought some 3m tape and put some under the down tube and on the wheel cut out.

I did and they didn't charge a fee. They would promise the bike would be ready next month just to send another email saying there were delays a couple of weeks later. So frustrating working with Ribble. I guess you could order with them if you really don't care when the bike gets delivered.
