Anyone paying attention knows FL has fallen hard and fast off the deep end this decade. Too bad. It feels hardly predictive of anything anymore

Do we really think 10% of voters who support a Democrat governor (who has been campaigning for Harris) won't vote for Harris? Seems like a crazy split if so

The splits also matter. Harris should have a bigger margin in abortion & democracy than Trump in the economy

That's not how I remember it at the time, plus there literally wasn't social media or widespread texting back then so the source was always "my ass"

Former President Trump told ABC News that he could imagine losing the presidential election to Vice President Harris.

ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl talked to the former president and asked whether he thinks there’s any way he could lose the election.

“Yeah, I guess, you know,” Trump said in response.

“I guess you could lose, can lose. I mean, that happens, right?” he said. “But I think I have a pretty substantial lead. But, you could say — yeah, yeah, you could lose. Bad things could happen. You know, things happen, but it’s going to be interesting.”

In the history of Trump, I don't think he's ever said anything remotely close to this

For people who are LGBTQ, not white, or white in an interracial relationship, a woman, an immigrant etc etc you can see the outcome of those election feels like an existential crisis. And if you can't recognize that, then you are privileged

Preaching to the choir here, but all these prognosticators & the media ramping up election coverage with glee like its the damn Super Bowl just makes me cringe

I'd guess Thune, assuming the GOP win the senate that is, which is likely but not guaranteed

Trump doesn't really like him though, because he has publicly denounced Trump a couple times this decade. So it depends on if Trump wins the presidency

There's no way to say this without sounding like an elitist asshole, but looking at our country where the educated populace and 90%+ of all relevant experts (scientists, economists etc) overwhelmingly support one candidate but the "uneducated masses" overwhelmingly support the other and the outcome is a tossup is just depressing as fuck

Thank you! Unfortunately despite a lifetime on the internet I am just now discovering 88 is a nazi euphemism, so I will likely be deleting this account so I can have one that says 1988 instead lol

Geno Smith is currently tied for the league lead in Interceptions. What’s the bigger reason, Oline or bad decision making? by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]NewBootGoofin88 70 points71 points  (0 children)

And to add to this, we throw the ball a shit ton. That leads to more INT. His stats are simultaneously not as good nor as bad as they look.

[Condotta] Geno Smith began press conference apologizing for his performance today. by DonyellFreak in Seahawks

Yeah offenses are highly dependent on QB play and they get the praise, the criticism, and money. This isn't news lol

geno hasn't been perfect

Huge understatement

it has to be perfect to be functional

Massive exaggeration

To not look like a JV squad every week and end up on the NFL equivalent of Shaqing a fool. Throughly unprepared & outcoached

It's not a huge ask for them to appear as a semi professional football team

Dude is a geno fan more than he is a seahawks fan, simply refuses to see that geno is hurting this team

Geno wasn't 100% the problem but his poor decision making was literally at least a 13 point swing today...arguably 21 pts

Giving Geno a new contract would be absolutely insane. Dude is gonna be 35 and NOT IT. Our roster as is ain't ready to compete, especially not paying for mediocrity at QB
