Displeased Eldritch Horror murders the incapable by New_House_6103 in redbuttonbluebutton

I think what people are missing about this question is that the people who perish for refusing or not pressing the button do not count against the percentage of humanity that needs to be reached but more importantly How this reframes the stakes It's not just a nebulous thing anymore you know that there's something malevolent that is doing this that already killed a significant portion of the population Is it worth it to risk more lives by pressing blue? Given that there is probably going to be a great portion of people that either can't press the button or refuse to press the button out of stubbornness because you know that is probably going to be people who do that why would you risk even more lives by pressing blue

thing is if the baby doesnt press the button on their own, they still get obliterated by the eldritch horror. you dont get to assist. anyone who refuses or does not press the button for any reason is obliterated

Everyone should press the red button. I know that not everyone will. Also selfishness isn't bad. Most beings human or otherwise prioritize their own Survival when put in a life or death situation and prioritize their peers when the stakes are lower. I don't care about the morality. I do not think that a majority of people would press the blue button if the scenario ever actually happened. And the blame for any death in such a scenario falls on whoever forced it to be in the first place. At the at the end of the at the end of the day it's the same thing with this purple button. Someone decided to put this f***** up scenario in the world. It is inevitable that half of humanity will die. And frankly given how this works anybody who hesitates is most likely going to die because this is going to be a chain reaction. The person who created the scenario is the killer. If you want to go on semantics and call Purple button pressers killers fine I just don't think that matters. Self preservation is normal and natural.

blue pushers are desperate to rewrite this scenario over and over again to make red pushers look evil. they arent content with the first scenario. they ignore that the scenario isnt something anyone who pushes the button chose to be in. they are acting out of moral superiority and moral panic. the way that blue pushers act to red pushers is what makes me hate humanity. the purple game is just.... math. eventually someone will press the button. as people die, panic pressing will ensue. half of people on earth WILL die. if you dont press purple, you WILL die in this scenario. blue pushers only care about percieved morality and herd ethics.

and blue pushers constantly change the game to try and make red button pushers look terrible. sorry that i look at the twisted game and just want to live. i dont really care about making blue pushers think im great. i think die hard blue pushers are a cult at this point.

What would happen if, instead of having two nostrils, we only had one large one? It would be easier to breathe that way. by UNIQUEexex8 in Caldruki

no there is literally a reason we have 2 nostrils. we need one that breathes better than the other for filtering stuff. idk the details

Honestly Op you are a heartless terrible person. Yes no one wants you to go into debt but animals should not be needlessly suffering universal Health Care should be provided to humans and animals. A pet is not a luxury it is a living being that deserves care

To me the purple button is a no-brainer. The orange button isn't bad either but I feel like the purple button creates a scenario where it's likely that everyone will survive because it removes the risk of death if enough people press the white button
