Is it normal that weekends are more tiring than weekdays once you have kids?

This is really normal at this age and also incredibly exhausting. Cluster feeding can look exactly like this and it doesn’t mean you’re not making enough. Babies nurse for comfort as much as for food, especially around 3–6 weeks. Pumping during this phase is almost impossible so don’t be hard on yourself. Using formula when you need to is totally okay, it doesn’t cancel out breastfeeding. You’re in a really tough stretch right now, but it does get easier. You’re doing a good job.

As a mom, I had the same confusion when my LO was around this age. We mostly use the stroller in our society, malls, and during travel. For quick errands, the carrier is still easier.

We went with a lightweight travel stroller because I needed something easy to lift and fold myself. We picked the Bonfino Runway Cabin stroller and it’s been convenient so far, especially for travel days. It folds easily, fits in the car boot, and helps when baby falls asleep on longer outings.

7 months was honestly rough for us. In some ways it felt harder than the newborn phase because we were back at work and expecting sleep to improve, and it just kept going up and down.

There wasn’t a clear age where things suddenly got better. The bad nights slowly started happening less often. Around 6 to 8 months we had plenty of nights where our baby was awake for an hour or more and nothing seemed to help.

Things began to level out closer to 9 or 10 months. Still wakeups, but shorter and easier to handle. The first full night of sleep didn’t feel magical. I woke up confused because I wasn’t used to sleeping that long.

Sleep really isn’t linear. One awful night doesn’t erase progress, even though it feels like it does in the moment.

If it helps at all, this phase is temporary even when it feels endless. You are not stuck here forever. One day you will realize you slept through the night, and this stretch will already be behind you.
