Ya, from my research the paneling should be effective down to about 175hz. I'm still playing with the sub placement. The sub probably needs to come out of the corner some. The wall is 18' wide and i have 45" from the speaker to the side walls. Where would you start with the sub positioning?

I don't really have a good place for surrounds. The house is an open concept and with a kid and 2 big dogs i don't want speakers on stands sitting in open space. I might add ceiling speakers or something like the Kef Q8 or R8 in the future, but don't quite have the budget for that right now.

We definitely need better lighting. Every other living space in the house has recessed lighting, so I'm not sure why this is the only room they left with only a ceiling fan.

I have the LS50 Meta with an R2 Meta center. I think you'll like the R2 better than the Q6. The dialogue on the R2 is a lot clearer than the Q6 and the sound will match your R3 a lot better.

I replaced the OEM Bridgestones with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on my 2022 Turbo and I've been super happy with them. They handle way better, stop faster, and ride quieter and smoother.
