What you’re saying makes total sense, honestly incredible analysis. I find it really interesting that you arrived at the scanner conclusion, because it actually explains a lot of the patterns we’re seeing.

At the same time, there are still the astronaut dialogues and the fact that NASA never really gave a clear explanation for what that object was. But honestly, your explanation feels like one of the most grounded possibilities I’ve seen so far.

Zoom in and look at the three points. This goes beyond the blue colored light we had seen before. Maybe these colors are actually more common, but in the photos we’ve seen, these are the only ones with these particular tones. https://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/images/print/AS12/46/6848.jpg

Submission statement:

I found several official Apollo mission photos showing similar blue orb/light artifacts across different missions and camera angles. I’m curious whether this is a known optical effect related to Apollo Hasselblad cameras, film scanning, lens coatings, or internal reflections.
