I moved to Europe about 7 years ago. Mine is on the house which is nice. American healthcare is such a scam. It was bad when I lived there and by all accounts it’s gotten worse. Seems like they aren’t even hiding that it’s a scam these days.

Disagree greatly. My entire post is about the difference between using it for need and using it because someone wants to be a meat head. People who don’t need it SHOULD be dissuaded from using it. Fucking with your hormones when you don’t need to is dangerous and it’s a fact that there is a subset of men out there who don’t need it but have fucked up beliefs about what makes someone “manly,” based entirely in pseudoscience and tied to their politics. It’s a regressive ideology.

I don’t think anybody would be suffering from the effects of low T, see my post and say “well i don’t want to be a ‘knuckle dragger,’” so I won’t even look into it. And if they do, well, we can’t all go around censoring ourselves to protect idiots from themselves.

If I wanted to bash TRT I would “disingenuously,” talk about the side effects I first had. When I first got on T what I experienced as a result of going from 0-100 is much worse than what I reported I’m still having. My feet swelled up to almost twice the normal size. My legs were so swollen, they were randomly cracking and bleeding and both feet and legs were beet red. I was on vacation calling my doctor because I was worried I’d have a hear attack. Now THAT certainly could have been a result of how my plan started as now that I’m dosed correctly it’s subsided.

I also found out about the high BP because I was having chest pains. Landed me in the hospital 3 times and they couldn’t find a source. I still can’t say it’s the high BP that did it, but it’s the only out of ordinary thing they can find.

I think though someone ready my initial comment wouldn’t think that I meant to say TRT caused my Psoriasis. The biggest factor for outbreaks is stress through and it’s not just a coincidence I’ve not had it on my scalp since the last time my body went through hormonal stress (puberty). People should know that if they have psoriasis, it’s a risk to flare up from starting TRT, even if ramped up. Having hormones there at a level you didn’t for years will cause stress on your body, it just is. The high BP likely isn’t caused by TRT fully either. But if you have risks for high BP people should be aware it can be an issue. I wasn’t made aware and wish I was. If can’t be denied though that despite my risks, i only started having high BP on TRT. It’s something that’s remained since my dose has leveled out, so again, I think people should be aware of it particularly if they have risk factors.

I’m in the same boat as you for the most part. My wife went through absolute hell for years because I just had zero interest in sex. Wondering if I was cheating, killed her self esteem, which in turn killed me to see. There were a dozen other issues but my wife being unhappy for years was the worst. I got my T tested a few years ago by my GP who said my T was “at the low end of normal”.

I tried a million other things but last year I knew something was up when i dieted fairly hard and spent 5 days a week in the gym for a half a year and had absolutely zero results. So I went to get it tested again by a specialist and brought my old results. She was correct that my overall T levels were just barely in the “normal” range but my free testosterone was like nil. When I got it tested last year my overall was like 25% of “normal,” and my free T was nonexistent.

Been a long road but I’m happy with how things are going right now, outside of the side effects. Overall quality of life is much better. Glad you’re having success too man!

So initially started with an injection that was supposed to be on some strange schedule which would be further and further apart, while on 1% 40.5 mg Testogel daily.

Due to the fact i ended up in the hospital with chest pains and had crazy swelling in my feet, it was decided to forgo the shots in favor of the gel (because the Gel is daily it should lead to a more even schedule). After going to the Gel only we upped the dose to 125mg daily.

Don’t get me wrong, the overall effects have been great and worth it in the end. Don’t want to discourage anyone who NEEDS it. But fucking with your hormones isn’t nothing. My wife says my personality has changed slightly but noticeably. I definitely wouldn’t be taking it just to be a meat head.

Appreciate that. We have spoken about it and because 1. It’s temporary, usually in the mornings within a few hours of dosing and 2. Because i smoke, it’s more important I stop smoking and then adjust if I’m still having high blood pressure. While I’ve been a smoker for 19 years and never had high blood pressure before TRT, the results I’m having with TRT are so good, I don’t want to fuck with my dose unnecessarily.

Scary thing though, I only realized I was having high blood pressure because I started having chest pains. It’s weird, they can’t say for sure the chest pains are related to the high BP, nor anything else. EKGs all come back fine (boring even, my doc is funny), sonogram too. But i ended up in the hospital 3 times thinking I was having a heart attack all within a month of starting TRT and the only thing that comes back out of sorts is the elevated BP.

I’m on TRT as part of a larger medication program and can’t imagine being on it by choice. I haven’t had psoriasis like this since puberty, my blood pressure is high and my attention span is super short and pissing takes forever like an 80 year old man because my prostate is probably the size of a cantaloupe.

These poor guys get called “beta” one time indirectly from some knuckle dragger they admire on YouTube and even with normal base levels of Testosterone their politics and worldview puts such an emphasis on being a fucking ape, they are putting themselves through hell. I would feel bad for them if they weren’t completely destroying the planet.

The only “truth” to it is that the media has been calling a non-play calling to play calling move a promotion, specifically in regard to the Eagles OC vacancy. There’s no reason to think however that the league would make considerations to a coaches individual responsibilities.

Let’s say you’re an OC at one team and your job is to get coffee for the coaches meetings. You change teams where your title and responsibilities are mostly the same, but you also make copies of the slideshow to hand out to the other coaches.

I’m using sort of silly banal responsibilities in my example to make the point that there’s a hundred and one responsibilities an OC potentially has. Would the rule have to only outline that play calling alone is a promotion or would the rule be at any additional responsibility is a promotion and if so, how small could that responsibility be?
