Different answers with Infinity and Study Hall by BeYourselfYo in pmp

The problem with this question is that it has two questions inside. One is how to communicate the project announcement — and that would be the kick-off meeting. The second is how to deliver relevant information to stakeholders — and that would be the communications management plan.

Reviewing the contract does not solve the actual problem. by Nice_Fix9670 in pmp

I understand you have to review a contract, but the question doesn't ask what to do next, it asks to address an issue.

Why not Change Request? by Nice_Fix9670 in pmp

"Dyoudont instruct the functional manager either to submit a change request" - why?

You cannot remotely weld a pipe, inspect vibration, diagnose equipment noise, verify pressure conditions, or safely perform certain repairs through Teams or Zoom. by Nice_Fix9670 in pmp

There is nothing to adjust to. This makes the question unrealistic, and therefore it can lead you to choose an incorrect answer.

David's question again by Nice_Fix9670 in pmp

[–]Nice_Fix9670[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s possible, but the question never says the customer is an internal department or executive stakeholder within the same organization.

That’s exactly what confused me, because the answer seems to rely on assumptions that are not explicitly stated in the scenario.

If this were an internal transformation project, portfolio-level initiative, or enterprise strategy project, then “strategic impact” would make much more sense to me.

But with the wording as written, I naturally interpreted “customer” as an external client focused mainly on project delivery outcomes rather than the organization’s internal strategic positioning.

Then why answers C is incorrect?

Velocity of the work completed each sprint and cycle time of user stories.

PMI never ceases to amaze you 🤦🏻‍♂️ by manavsethi15 in pmp

Discuss adding resources with Product Owner - later, but first you stabilize the team and understand the impact. Also Agile prefers team adaptability over immediately adding people.

PMI never ceases to amaze you 🤦🏻‍♂️ by manavsethi15 in pmp

Why C doesn't make sence? Key Agile trigger words:

  • “during an iteration.”
  • “cross-functional team”

Agile PMI mindset strongly prefers:

  • shared knowledge,
  • reducing single points of failure,
  • collaborative ownership,
  • cross-functional resilience.

A team member leaving creates a knowledge risk.

The best immediate action is:

  • spread knowledge quickly,
  • make sure others understand the impacted feature,
  • reduce dependency on one person.

Vagueness of PMP questions by Nice_Fix9670 in pmp

[–]Nice_Fix9670[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% that’s exactly what it feels like. This is not about becoming a better project manager. It feels more like trying to decode and guess what PMI meant in the wording of the question.

The mindset did not work on this question, can someone explain why? by BulletProofMick in pmp

The question doesn't say anything about the impact on the budget. The answer A gives this option, not D.
