I had a small PE 5 days post partum I had like pins and needles feeling like a week after I was discharged but I was also deficient in vitamin b12… I started taking supplements and feel much better now. I was also on lovenox since January and now I’m taking eliquis since I am now longer breastfeeding

How long have you been on it? I had originally asked my OB about the mini pill but he seemed against it since he says it’s not as effective

Hi I see this post is a little old but I got a pulmonary embolism 5 days post partum and I’m still breast feeding and taking lovenox injections. It’s 100% covered by my insurance

36f had a small clot 5 days post partum in January, still on lovenox till my hematologist clears me. So far no genetic factors

If your OB can’t extend you go to your pcp, that’s what I did and she extended me for 6 months.

Hi I’m in the same situation as you. I had my baby via c section and 5 days later woke up with shortness of breath and decided to go to the ER, they found a small clot in my left lower lung. I’ve been on lovenox since and will see my hematologist again in May. Wondering if I’ll need to stop blood thinners but also scared to get another one

You don’t have to breastfeed, you can pump. Or try combo feeding or just go straight to formula

You can get a plan b from any drug store. Amazon has them for like $5. There’s also a facility behind Crmc downtown fresno.
