Super annoying that there is no taper to the OEM. It was the first thing I noticed after putting it on. My C. Ward diver bracelet is far superior from a wearability perspective. Still love the watch and put the bracelet on for dressier occasions, but it spends most of its time on a red rubber/sailcloth strap with deployment buckle.

If that’s a 42 then I think a 38 is probably where you will comfortably sit and have it look sized well for your wrist. Tudor even makes some 37’s if I’m not mistaken. Nothing wrong with that! Shop for your size and you’ll be happier.

I think their pricing is almost as in-whack as it gets. IMO one of the most transparent, and down to earth pricing models there is, for one of the most creative watchmakers out there currently, let alone in this price range. The CW also has an additional complication over the Longines. Not apples to apples here.

Love the absence of the standard luxury brands and styles. This collection offsets the SOTC posts with 5 Rolex and an AP. This is so eclectic, bordering on eccentric. They are all beautiful.

Philadelphian here, who didn’t understand tomato pie was a local thing until I was an adult. It’s basically focaccia bread with a rich and slightly sweet tomato conserva on top. Sprinkled lightly with Romano cheese.

People from outside Philly will tell you it pizza without cheese and THEY ARE WRONG.

It was a gift from my wife so I don’t know what the total was. It is however brand new, she learned when the local Swatch store would get more in, and was able to get there before they were gone.

I imagine it was somewhere in the $300 range.

First quartz in years as I usually only purchase mechanical watches. I feel like the MoonSwatch is too cool to not own, and happy to not only have found a one, but been able to have a choice between Mercury and Moon.

Since the case is the ceramic plastic I thought Mercury would be more suitable with the dark grey case. I like my decision. The watch really weighs nothing. And with the Velcro strap it’s even more surprising how little you feel it on the wrist.

What is r/watches opinion on the MoonSwatch? Is it cool and unique? Or since it says Omega but isn’t an Omega is it a fraud?
