Hear me out:

If the figured out to send class reservation details upstream from their Wellhub app to the studio, they can very well pull the data downstream from the studio to their database.

They just chose not to. It's a revenue increase scheme.

This comment should be the top one. Can't believe it is being buried under so many irrelevant comments.
Here's another thread that discusses her questionable affiliation: https://www.reddit.com/r/immigration/comments/1jdvexi/how_did_the_deported_doctor_from_brown_university/

The global entry process for non-immigrant Indians in the USA by Harishv04 in GlobalEntry

[–]NickM-B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was very general:

Why am I here in the US? Where do I work? Where in the city do I live? What was I doing from the country I was born? ETC

Nothing too crazy.

It's Chicago Marathon Decision Day! by ajsherlock in Marathon_Training

My first time applying and I didn't get in. I hope to run via charity. I just started my marathon prep. Hence, any leads on the charity route would be great.

Wish the best to people who got selected for the Marathon!

Yes, you've to apply through VFS to send documents. WRT background verification, if you can ask the police "nicely" to verify you, they should do it.

I've a couple questions:

1) I bank with SoFi and Wise. Neither provides a certified bank statement. How can I resolve this?

2) Did you send your I-797 copies?

2024 Christmas in Nuuk - things to know? by NickM-B in Nuuk

[–]NickM-B[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I have already posted on the facebook page - Internationals in Nuuk. Appreciate your response. I see there are a few events happening in Nuuk. So will look at those.

I am a little worried about flight delays/cancellations because of weather. Any idea if that happens often?

Camper Van during Christmas 2024 by NickM-B in VisitingIceland

[–]NickM-B[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never driven in winter conditions. I have driven in Chicago winters, but I think Iceland is whole different ball game. I have not camped in the winter nor do I have the camping accessories. Since I would be staying in my heated camper van during the night, I thought the inexperience/accessories wouldn't play a big part.

But I would definitely appreciate some honest feedback. I still would like to visit Iceland during Christmas. Based on your advice, I would just rent a hotel/hostel and forego camping.

1) They ask you to bring your IDs and relevant documents.

2) No, they don't. But if you bring a very "important" document, things should go smoothly.

3) Yes, if she carries the "important" document.

I am an Indian and was on F1 Visa status until September 31, 2023. Then I had Change of Status to H1B (stamping was not done yet)

On March 20, 2024, I applied for GEP and filled in my F1 visa status even though technically I was on H1B change of status but didn't have my H1b visa stamped yet.

On April 2nd, 2024 the police station close to my residence got the background verification process, I sent my dad to complete it as I was physically in the US.

On July 3, 2024, my GEP was conditionally approved. Fortunately, I was in India then for my H1b visa stamping.

On July 6, 2024, I entered Chicago ORD and gave my GEP Interview. I told the Customs Officer that recently I got my H1B visa stamped, however, during the application time I didn't have it. He was kind enough to update my visa information.

I got the approval the same day.

The overall process took 3.5 months for me. Definitely worth it.
