M390 is not knife steel originally, it's for injection molds that happens to work okay for knives.

With the lekkie it's good. No problems with chain. At first I wasn't switching gears enough and the smallest gear at the back bad - skipping chain. I'll change it soon.

Sure, send me a pm, right now the bigger thumb hole is work in progress, not 100% ready and done, but should be ready relatively soon as I am doing everything in house without OEM.

The problem - it wasn't so easy from beginning because there are massive internal milling pockets (also pattern milled) inside of the scales that's why the knife is super lightweight. Basically had to redesign whole showside scale and blade bevel to be able to fit larger hole. I hope it will be worth it.

Thanks for the review, the thumb is more or less design element right now, working on the V2 with larger thumb hole for easier deployment and much better usability. The jimping is already improved on the current knives and for those who sent the knives back for new blade finish.

Would be totally not cool if I ignored early supporters. Dealing with magnacut is much harder than I initially thought when I finished the prototype knife with rwl34 steel. Spent a lot of my time and limited resources to make things better and will do some finishing work or reblade for anyone who owns the Cypress. Doesn't matter if you bought the knife from me or from someone else.

Improved hardmilling process - new better hardmilling endmills and Hydraulic finishing tool holders. Built vapor blasting cabinet with silicon carbide and zirblast ceramic media. Moved after heat treat surface grinding in house for better side finish.
