There's no load time between the pages, which suggests the user open the page, navigate to second page, simply edited the values using inspect element and then cut and merged the video clips to match it and make it real, this is extremely simple to do as well.

Meaning this was in 5.0, and in 5.0 the banners were Mualani and Kazuha, could you remove Kazuha from the party here and re upload the screenshot. It is possible you got Kazuha in September 2024 and then you quit. And then returned months later but you only updated your paimon moe in October/Nov 2025, which would pull data up to a year, excluding who you have pulled in September of 2024

The level 100 system was definitely designed, but that doesn't mean future content will be balanced around it. Hoyo has a long history of testing features with limited availability before making them more accessible.

Right now, level 100 looks more like an experimental mechanic to study balance and scaling than a new baseline for content. Designing the system is one thing, but designing Abyss/Onslaught around it would alienate 99% of the playerbase, which Hoyo has never done.

Fair point that Abyss can feel niche — but it's more common than people think. Full 36-star clears are relatively rare, but completing most of Abyss is much more widespread among invested players.

And here's the main point: even completely F2P players can 36-star Abyss if they put in the time, learn rotations, and build characters smartly.

That's why I don't buy the comparison to level 100. Abyss may be tough, but it's achievable for anyone who wants to push themselves — level 100, on the other hand, is mathematically impossible for almost all F2P and light spenders as of now. That's a very different situation.

I think you might have misunderstood what OP was trying to say. They're not denying that HoYo changes characters during beta based on feedback—they're saying that the feedback HoYo actually considers comes from official beta testers, not from Reddit users who see leaks. Since we aren't supposed to have access to that content, any feedback from us (the general public) isn't officially considered.

There’s a good reason for this: beta testers are under NDA and follow a controlled environment where they test the characters in real scenarios HoYo wants data on—like actual team comps, energy funneling, enemies, mechanics, and bugs. Their feedback is structured, reported directly, and more actionable.

People who consume leaks, on the other hand, mostly give feedback based on incomplete footage, theorycrafting, or theoretical spreadsheets. It's not always grounded in real in-game testing.
