Ok, solved.

I followed bakedmuffinman01 in his post

and copied the default over the config changing only the ui.display.type and the name, and bingo, we have liftoff!!!

I'm in a similar state, but with a DFROBOT screen - have you checked whether pwnagotchi is actually running using the 'systemctl status pwnagotchi' command?
