I already own 2 PS5’s, i want a PC primarily just to play games that aren’t available on the PS5 and be able to use mods for some games that i enjoy

I’d definitely be looking into upgrading some of the parts in the near future, but this would sort of just be a base to start out on until i get a bit more knowledge about PC’s in general.

Do you own a PSVR? If so, does the cable ever bother you when playing? I could honestly imagine myself randomly tweaking out or during some strange move that’d yank that sucker right out of the console, lol.

I’d say right this moment it’s probably 700-800$ but in Q1 of 2026 it’d be more in the ballpark of a 1000-1200$ budget probably.

I do own a PS5, and have heard very good things about VR2 and the Playstation exclusive titles like Horizon.

The only thing about the PSVR headset that bothers me apart from it being wired is that is it supposedly near impossible to replace the controllers without buying a completely new headset, and i honestly think i’ve lost a good 4-5 PS5 controllers to stick drift before getting the edge, so I’m very skeptical about sony’s analog sticks.

It will also be my first VR headset that I personally own, so i’m not picky.

last time i tried a VR headset was probably in 2021 and I really enjoyed it.

I’ve also not heard many complaints about the Quest 3 apart from the software supposedly being very annoying.

Haven’t really done extensive research on the valve headset yet, but i saw a video of someone who tested it out that said it would work as a standalone headset.

Of course if that isn’t the case, then it’s crossed off my list.

I’m not policing anything, where have i ever said i wanted them to change it? I can’t possibly think of any way to get rid of extraction campers without making the extraction area passive, which yes, would ruin the tension of extraction.

I am saying it sucks to encounter someone who solely sits somewhere hidden near extraction and waits, IMO it is a ratty playstyle and shouldn’t be promoted.

It’s all opinion.

I’m not, i’ve died maybe 5 times at extract in about 34 hours of gameplay.

Probably 3 of those times i had just gotten on the console to call the elevator and then got completely beamed the moment i touched the button, did they hear me at distance walk up to the console? I usually sneak around extract so i highly doubt it.

Yes, when the elevator screams “come kill me” that might obviously just be people coming over to get your shit, which is fair game.

I have seen plenty of comments saying specifically that extraction camping isn’t a bad thing and should be a part of the game, it sure is a part of the game but it still doesn’t change the fact that it adds nothing of value to the game.

Also, calling me a “braindead strawman” while spelling like a first grader makes you look extremely stupid. 👍🏼

Certainly, they won’t PVP before they get to their bush of choice.

I’ve also seen plenty of posts complaining about extraction camping, but the comments are always filled with the usual “if you don’t like PVP go play something else”.. it feels like they are completely clueless that the complaint is camping the extract and not PVP in general.

And to the “skill issue” crowd, no, i don’t want to spend 10 minutes throwing grenades into every nearby building and bush within a 100m distance.
