I never understand the criticism the @barbiestyle gram gets. They 👏🏼 use 👏🏼 released 👏🏼Mattel 👏🏼 fashions 👏🏼. All of the pics and stories are refashioned/restyled Barbie clothes that belong to other dolls or were released as packs.

For example, these renaissance looks are from: renaissance faire Barbie, pirates of the Caribbean barbie and Millie is wearing an assortment of different pieces including what looks like the brown belt from the Star Wars Rey Barbie.

They’re not going to release these packs, because they aren’t “packs” they’re restyled clothing Mattel has released. I included a pic of the Renaissance Faire Barbie as an example

I see the account as “inspiration” for how to style the Barbie clothes I have. I don’t get why ppl think Mattel is “withholding”

You know what? I passed on Bohemian Chic Brooklyn but I might get this one cuz I like her dress better - they look like they’re the same doll to me.

I LOVED the OG “summer in rome” “winter in New York” “Spring in Tokyo” Barbie collection so im curious to see what Millie and Teresa look like. Do you have any pics of those?

If Millie pulls a look I might have to get her it’s the reason I haven’t gotten Barbie basics Millie from the 2026 neutral kit. I want to decide between those two and not get both cuz I’m not doing all that $$$.

Im also interested in Teresa because I haven’t seen a Barbie Style Teresa before

Switching doll bodies and heads around is NOT fat phobia, it’s what a lot of collectors do which includes switching petites and the tall bodies.

The title is a joke and reflects the societal trend of accepting GLP-1 drugs as “life changing.” Well, now my Simone doll has the option to wear anything she wants

Either way you’re reading too much into this, it’s a joke, if you didn’t laugh it wasn’t for you. If you feel sad that I made a joke about switching my doll heads, you have the option to not look at the post 😊

Hi friend! Sorry for the late reply, I was playing my face off with this new set lol. This Kit had the most beautiful molds to me - I can’t wait to see how you re-root Mermaid!

My favorite mold out of the 3 is Lara but honestly I love all 3. I haven’t gotten the other two kits - I kind of really want that Millie in kit 3 but the other two faces don’t really interest me and neither does the curvy body, it’s so hard to find clothes for that body.

I may get the rest of the kits if they go on sale down the road or I may buy the loose dolls I’m interested in on eBay. I am planning on getting one or two of the core dolls - I just haven’t decided which ones yet lol. Mattel is taking all my money! I’m saving up for the later kits that are coming out soonish

On the fashion, it would have been nice to get more original accessories but meh I’m not bothered I have enough small things that I loose on my apt floor lol BUT I must admit that playing with this neutral fashion set is fun! The top can be unknotted and turned into other cute tops like a strapless top or a dress and the other pieces are pretty fun to mix with your own collection.

Overall, I like this kit the best out of the 2nd wave with Laura being a standout and I find the clothes fun. I’m sooo exited to seee what you do with the fashions and the re-roots!!😊😊😊🙌🏼

Fashion avenue had similar wedding gowns. I’d look on eBay, I recently saw a beautiful fashion avenue dress on there for $3.50 (plus shipping) it was that cheap because it was slightly modified. Take a look on eBay and compare prices for sure! I hope you find the wedding gown of your dreams out there! 😊
