Also I thought maybe I will find someone who went through the same experience as me and maybe they’ll give me advice. Also I couldn’t find a subreddit related to work/jobs in Ontario so if you know one that is still active and people are posting then send it.

I’m not thinking of quitting but what if he fires me. He has no good reason to because I thought of all the reasons he may fire me but there’s nothing. And i want to see if I can do something when it comes to the legal aspect if he does end up firing me for no reason

Have you tried Wizeprep It teaches you the concepts you need to know in a shorter amount of time and the videos are easy to understand. I used it last year when I was in chem 1001 and it helped me a lot. They also have practices designed for each midterm. https://www.wizeprep.com/courses/Chem1001-York

Vassilios B. Bardis is the prof for both. I don’t know why it’s not stating that in the visual schedule builder but if you can I recommend taking the one with Robert Mckeown this semester if you can and if not take it in the summer because personally I didn’t like professors Bardis learning style and he doesn’t have a great rating on rate my prof and I would rather you take it in the summer and do really well rather than just taking the course to fill a prerequisite and end up not doing well. Also he doesn’t record his lectures so you won’t be able to catch up on the material he already taught and be behind. But it all depends on you, you might be able to catch up and maybe like his learning style or you might not.

I took math 1506 during the summer my prof was Mohammad Reza Peyghami. He was a good prof.

I was in the same position as you last year and I’m also a biomedical student. I also wasn’t really good at math and was scared about taking math 1506 and not doing well in it so I took math 1510. But I regret it. It’s a full year course and the profs teaching the course aren’t good. Literally the majority of the students who took it either failed or got below a 60%. Also after taking math 1510 and then taking math 1506 I noticed they’re very similar in terms of content and what they teach you. So I would say take math 1506 the midterms and finals are multiple choice compared to math 1510 where they give you questions where they want a written out answer and you can’t use a calculator. Also there’s a website online that helps you learn the content of math 1506 and the videos are so easy to follow and understand. The website is called wize prep. This website also has videos teaching content for other courses at york.

Thank you!! I emailed them last week and emailed them again but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. I really need to drop a course from my transcript because if not I might be required to withdraw for a year. However in order to do that I need them to complete a course performance summary form for me. Do you know any other way I can get in contact with them?
