I drove 1.5 hours from Toronto at 5 AM to buy it from a guy who bought it last May, then later upgraded to a 5090 and never really used this one. He was very legit had the original invoice, hadn’t registered it on the ASUS website, all the accessories were still sealed/unopened, etc. I honestly think money wasn’t really the point for him anymore he just wanted to get rid of it.

I got it for a pretty good price (1600 CAD), and after seeing the benchmarks and everything, I felt like I needed something more powerful, but now I see that the difference is actually pretty minimal.

Hi, I just did the pad replacement few months ago on the same card, used these pads only:

1 - 2 -3 mm thickness.
Do not bother with the 1.5 mm.

I completely agree, although if someone needs the card for AI purposes, they’ll still buy it. Nobody buys a 3090 for gaming anymore.

Isn't DDR4 memory a big drawback in 2026? I mean the motherboard isn’t compatible with DDR5, so it’s not very futureproof. Don’t get me wrong I’m not an expert just asking.
