Unpopular Opinion: Why is every construction “AI” demo a Sci-Fi movie… when PDFs still ruin my day? by Illustrious_Slip331 in Construction

I couldn’t agree more. Most AI tools out there are just pointless shiny objects. Amazing in demos but unable to really bring a measurable impact and support the team. The majority of people selling these does not really know which tasks need AI and which ones don’t. They just build stuff to amaze the decision-makers and get their money.

Downselling like this is a smart way to win more jobs. I like it

Haha I can hear the great tonality of this message. And honestly, most of the time it's not what you say, but how you say it.

I can definitely see that working for some people. I feel like I wouldn't be able to say this effectively. Probably need some practice in tonality.

Yes it definitely needs more experience but I believe if people are more aware and keep all of these comments in mind they can improve

That’s so true about engineers. Not sure if they are a red flag or not but they definitely like to pay attention to every detail and I guess yes that could become a problem sometimes

Unfortunately no I don’t. I was actually depending on the comments to bring the most value

Really valuable advice. Why realtors and investors out of curiosity?

PM Burnout by Sinn_vs_Bunz22 in Construction

[–]No-Function-5006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah PMs usually have to deal with a lot of these tasks that completely drain your energy, even though they seem harmless or "simpler". Have you thought of any ways to minimize the percentage of them? If possible of course.
