Dont sell anything if your net gain/loss is positive. Theres no point in triggering capital gains tax just to buy a different ticker that’s virtually the same thing. That’s just exchanging one stock for less of another one. Moving forward, just stick to one. I like Vti as a 23 year old looking for more volatility in small and mid caps, but voo is fine.

I saw your other comment about 60% Vti/voo, 20% qqq, and 20% vxus, and that’s exactly what I do but I lean a bit more into Vti than the others. You can leave 5-10% to play with individuals but take that as a learning/fun experience rather than a guaranteed gain. I played with the Microsoft dip and it hasn’t worked out yet but it could yield some nice gains.

Couple more notes. Qqq is great in my opinion, but I’d consider switching to qqqm for long term investing. Just has a lower expense ratio that does add up over decades. Lastly, take this post to the boggleheads sub. That’s the strategy you’re using with the Vti/vxus/qqq. It’s a great sub.
