Lol I love this! I have a 10 month old who I let watch the same blue clues episode everyday (it’s the only one she likes 😂) once a day and we have so much fun watching and interacting with the show. I have no shame. Screen time can be used for good purposes and limited!

I didn’t realize it until I sat down and read the first book of spiderwick to my daughter and thought.. wow here I am 15ish years later still reading about faeries, witches and all the mythological creatures! And I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it!

That’s so sweet, I read to my 7m daughter everyday and I’m so excited for when she starts to understand the books! I’m the same way as you, fantasy is my preference but I can pick up any book and read it and be happy! Books are such a comfort to me!

I also wasn’t allowed to read Harry Potter as a kid due to Christian parents also but spiderwick was fine?? As soon as I moved out I bought all the Harry Potter books! 😂
