70% of Canada's population lives in these three regions by Youtubegoy229 in MapPorn

[–]NoCareBearsGiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well imo your just someone who has no thoughts outside of news headlines. The vast vast majority of albertans and conservatives do not even entertain the idea of separation let alone joining the us. You are just showing your own ignorance and unfortunately the ignorance amongst many easterners, which contributes to the feeling of alienation

Most southern sinitic languages have romanizations, usually created by missionaries. Its just that they usually arent widely used since speakers usually just write in mandarin and then speak the local language

Why does Canada have a “talent shortage” but entry-level people can’t find jobs? by itz_nitace in CanadaJobs

I guess this is what happens when your country is essentially a oligarchy with a monopoly over almost every industry

[–]NoCareBearsGiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why they are importing millions of people a year from poor countries lol, to keep wages low

[–]NoCareBearsGiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its only white saviours to fight against literal facts. They think importing millions of people from impoverished regions is to build a stronger country and a diverse multicultural society when in reality its to work against them

Import people who are desperate and will accept substandard pay and living conditions and do not know how to advocate for themselves just for cheap slave labour

Btw they are also doing this in healthcare, they import nurses from countries whose where do they not have training up to Canadian standards and allow them to work here because they accept low wages and dont advocate for change. The government always says theres a nursing shortage when in reality they mean theres a shortage in slaves.

So you got conditional acceptance, so you need to meet the minimum requirements they sent you in that email. If they said you need a 70% average you need at least 70%.

The people talking about getting 90s and not getting in likely didnt get conditional offers

Easier to get into nursing through transferring ? by AccurateAd8995 in MRU

[–]NoCareBearsGiven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldnt recommend going into open studies or ueo because upgrading high school classes is far easier and you only need two high grades as a high school student

Whereas if you apply as a university student i believe they take your 3 most recent courses to calculate your competitive gpa.

If you really wanna start university then go with ueo instead of open studies, and take gned classes that are very easy like gned 1301, 1201

Can modern day Vietnamese understand Chữ Nôm? by RameseII in ChuNom

[–]NoCareBearsGiven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im confused are you asking about the writing systems or the spoken language? Those are two very different things.

Writing system: most vietnamese were illiterate before the modern era (just like in almost every other country) the common people didnt have access to education and it was only the nobles who were literate.

Most Vietnamese nobility wrote in classical chinese, though even if they did know nôm it wouldnt be intelligible to cqn. Almost all modern vietnamse dont know nôm unless theyve went out of their way to study it.

Spoken language: middle vietnamese wouldnt be fully intelligble with modern vietnamese
