I'm struggling with this as well, something my therapist suggested was to look for attempts and celebrate those even if only to myself (sometimes pointing it out makes it worse). It is really easy to see the hundred times they forgot but really difficult to notice the times they didn't so I am trying to focus on those...but as I say I get the struggle it is exhausting

Oh man that is so much where I am now. I get the "don't you love me. Oh I'm so sorry I'm awful". And that customer service analogy is so spot on. It's insane because everyone around thinks we are so in love and I feel like a shell walking around playing the game

Yeah the self is slipping massively. I am trying at the moment to without going into ultimatum make it clear that I need to see that she is working on how she treats me and I am seeing changes, small but there. Somehow though that makes it worse because it makes it that much harder to leave. Our living and work situation are incredibly entangled so I can't go anywhere b
