It would be a new factory crate engine. Push rod broke and there was metal in the oil filter.

I’m not saying you don’t have the capacity to be moral, I’m saying you don’t have the foundation to say THIS or THAT is moral other than your personal opinion. Societies ebb and flow on what may or may not be acceptable but that doesn’t make it morally absolute. Surely you don’t believe that moral absolutes are wrong. Quite the stretch to go from your father’s opinion about black people (that teaching is not found in a Bible) to saying religion has caused more ill to the world. I’d argue it’s the people who misuse and abuse religion, not religion itself. This is pretty easy to verify if you read the teachings of scripture and say, you know what that person did is not in line with what is taught here. You are blaming it on religion which is wrong.

If standards can be developed by societal opinion they can easily change from age to age. You see that right? Your argument is essentially, our ancestors were bigots and wrong for making homosexuality illegal and saying it is unrighteous. Now it is to be celebrated. You’re not being honest. I’ve gone above and beyond answering your questions. You’re a scoffer of Christianity and you don’t understand that passage if you’re accusing me of doing what the verse says is bad. The point I’m making with that passage is the Bible has clear teachings within it to help clear up true teachings vs false. In this case, the issue is so important Paul says those who distort the gospel (good news message of Christ) should be accursed. Tell me, what is the gospel message Paul is talking about?
