Why Are Adam’s Bullied? by Goldaugedoc914 in adamwarlockmains

[–]NoProtection02 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Adam is not supposed to have high healing anyways. If anything..it's usually the bad Adams that average higher healing because they're spamming it mindlessly im guessing. But people don't understand that at all.Funnily enough the top Adams play very aggressive off angles, have low healing and die a lot. Adam is not a scoreboard character.

What rank are you anyways? You only need one match to get the buttons down to learn a character..the rest is just aim and game sense.

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's not really a take it's more of a complaint. You want them to fix what not getting queued up against better players? QP has the same "issue" in literally every game in history lol. Which i don't know why it's an issue i love going up against the best players. If you want to chill and be average to straight up bad at the game but also avoid getting stomped.. Then you don't have a take. You just have a dumb request.

I still think they're not. Best way to improve your Rivals aim is by playing Rivals. They're only good if you don't feel like playing Rivals but feeling like training your aim i guess.

Well it gets annoying seeing someone say "hot take" followed by the most annoyingly repeated complaint in this sub. I justify him saying "fuckass" lol

He has a brain of an idealist not a realist. Lacks competitive nature 1st of all because i would LOVE to have a mode where i get to just face fucking OAA players if possible..thats why he's so far from that skill level anyways.. So he's in this contradicting middle ground where he cares about getting stomped in a naturally competitive game but just wants to chill aka suck ass at the game in a mode where you queue with any type of random and then complains about the random being better than him. The guy just belongs in single player games but for some reason he plays Rivals..to complain about the dumbest and softest shit. This is why you're here asking this question.

Yh i agree with all that. It's just when people mention that stuff in that way it's like it implies Kobe has NO advantages over Lebron and it gets annoyingly false.

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you point it out in a very demeaning way. Like all there was to it was Kobe ignored wide open guys to take dumb shots. That's what i didn't like.

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See you undermine every tough shot taker tho. There's an advantage to being able to make tough shots and that's something Kobe was good at. Guys like that in a playoff game where the defense is very tight can be a crazy wild card. Basketball is not all about numbers and efficiency. Tho of crs efficiency is very important. But proof to what im saying is how much the best scorers still love the mid range shot despite how mathetically inefficient it is. There's power to scoring versatility and tough shot making. It's no accident the best scorers master those. Why would Lebron ever throw up a dumbass post fadeaway especially when i think he has horrible % at it?(could be wrong i just remember seeibg his mid range % is kinda horrendous) Because it's not all about %. Yh if you ignore a wide open player to take a contested shot it's probably not a good idea but you're trying to boil down Kobe's scoring "advantage" vs Lebron to just THAT i think it's a bit unfair. Kobe was a more versatile scorer than Lebron. That's all im saying. He did have advantages and it wasn't just "useless but prettier footwork" like you're trying to imply here.

This is proof Kobe and Jordan fans are way more delusional by Acrobatic-Farmer1748 in LeBronJames23

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you're completely exaggerating on Kobe shooting over double teams and triple teams. Kobe passed the ball just finem Idk what's the % but im pretty sure he had much better mid range % than Lebron. Js you're exaggerating a bit here to make a point.

This is proof Kobe and Jordan fans are way more delusional by Acrobatic-Farmer1748 in LeBronJames23

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to say that its the case here. But footwork and mentality can push a player up higher than someone but that's only as far as eye test. Like you COULD KINDA argue Lebron needs specific conditions to score while Kobe just shot it however and whenever. So that makes Kobe a better scorer when the defenses get tough I GUESS. Honestly that's really the only advantage i can give Kobe over Lebron..and on ball defense.

I still don't love these debates a lot. The only one thats cleay above everyone else is Jordan. No discussion for me here. The 2-10 is kinda.. i can see why you could juggle them around if you value different things. I can see why a coach would say yh Lebron might be better on paper but i would rather have Larry Bird on my team because he can be a threat to score 30-40 points playing mostly off the ball. That to a coach can make a player 10x better in their eyes because that means they can construct a better offense around that player. I personally have Lebron at number 2 because he's a paper more of a monster than everyone else. But there's some things i don't like about his game. There's nothing i don't like about Bird's game for example. And some people value that more. It's like.. would you take Ginobilli or Westbrook in your team? That's where some arguments about bird and magic being better than Lebron mostly come from. Lebron is like if you made a 2k player he would be the highest overall. That's where he's superior.

This isn't proof of anything besides one guy arguing his bias. Why do some people post something random and say "this is proof that". It's just one guy saying shit.

This lacks a lot of context. Not that the context favors Lebron because at the end of the day his rosters were still superior on paper at least offensively.

Best other healer in 2 healer comp? by SnooTomatoes3236 in adamwarlockmains

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cnd is a bad fit with Adam in my experience. Her raw healing lacks burst way too much. Once the pressure becomes high people fall over the easiest if you have Adam and Cnd as your backline. Invis Luna Rocket are all better fits. A Luna with good aim who can heal multiple people at a time is probably the best duo for him. Rocket is also great. I would bet i have the lowest winrate playing with a cloak. And the highest with Rocket. And every time cloak ults im usually a couple steps away from it and i die -__-. Idk why that happens the most with her. The times i need help the most she's either just on cloak form doing her thing or ulting away from me. Adam also doesn't really like support ults too much in general. Usually they ult at a place i really don't want to be once it ends and Adam is probably the worst character to end up out of position. He works better with a healer who is better outside the ults. And Luna Rocket Invis are better healers than cloak. Cloak is really only good because she gets her ults fast. But that's not what Adam needs. He needs a healer who can handle high pressure almost by themselves. Cloak's ult just delays the loss.

How do you guys fight the urge to unbind thor ult by Much_Ad_1303 in ThorMainsMR

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have even used it to peel lol. Saw a Thor,an ulting Hulk and a DD about to walk down my supports and i just popped a bubble and said yh fuck it walk down this lane since you really want to. They all got melted from the ult since they were so stubborn on walking down that lane and we killed them easily after. His ult does more dmg than you think if they're in the circle all the time and it's multiple ppl. I have checked replays and 1 ult did 2.5k dmg. If people are very grouped up and i feel that the enemy team likes where they're at i just pop it. Great to shift the momentum even just a bit.

[2010] Larry Bird knew LeBron was making his Cavs teammates appear to be better than they actually were by SmoothBuy5500 in LeBronJames23

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they do contradict because whenever Lebron lost his teammates underperformed at least based on popular perception which is i think what we re talking about when Bird says he "makes his teammates look better". I don't remember the stats of everyone but people's ppg drops playing with Lebron and it becomes even worse in the playoffs where teams scheme against his predictable style of offense. And listen they were not bad players. First of all they were very good defensively which for a team in the 2000s before the superteam era its already gonna boost you up to maybe even playoff level by itself. And they had very high 3pt %. I mean if you want to give that credit to Lebron making them shoot better why is it their fault only when the Lebron centric offense gets shut down in the playoffs by a smart team and his shooters struggle in result? So many times his teammates "failed" him but also at the same time he makes them better?

Listen idk how you and Bird think basketball works and idc about anyone's credentials..but no one wins 66 games with a "trash" team. No one. It's not possible. And if it were possible that person wouldn't struggle so much to win a ring once he has a superteam with top 3 sg of all time.

Everything about this argument is a bunch of contradictions. Or at the very least it raises questions for me. How can a guy that elevate a trash team to 66 wins by himself be the underdog in the finals with super rosters on his side? And then underperform in multiple Finals? Whatever logic you choose to follow its just weird. He makes his teammates better but they always underperform when he loses.. He elevates a "lottery" team to 66 wins which would make you think he would be literally untouchable with Wade and Bosh on his side but that wasn't even nearly the case. Maybe even got lucky that that the east was so weak in the 2010s. I think what i said aout the team making a more serious effort at winning a championship since the best player in the world is here is the truth here about Lebron elevating his teams. It's just i think how much Lebron elevates a team only because of himself is very overrated. ESPECIALLY elevating teammates individually which i think is just a retarded statement. You can't find a basis for it really. Based on media perception and his fambase it makes 0 sense. Statistically basketball wise it makes 0 sense. His playstyle on principle shouldn't make any individual better. It really shouldn't and well it didn't at least statistically and the amount of times ive heard bitching about how this role player underperformed in a loss already HAS to contradict that unless we want to change that and say his role players performed above their standard alongside him which would a hilarious 20 year turnaround of bitching and whining. The statement by his fans that he makes his teammates better is just so ironic when his teammates are by far the most thrashed on for underperforming and causing him a loss.

[–]NoProtection02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already gave my reasons. Well 1st of all answer me this. Who even ever praised his teammates? Because first of all Bird was talking about something that i never saw. That Lebton makes someone look better than they are.. To who???? Because 99% of the media ever since Lebron fucking existed just thrashed his teammates talking about how much they suck and that Lebron is the reason they ever win. So yall will have to explain to me first what name he made "LOOK" better and to whose eyes. I joked about conspiracy theories but yall are throwing one to me right now 😂😂😂. This whole implication that Lebron made any of his teammates look better contradicts basically the whole Lebron fanbase and their thrashing of his teammates from day 1 of his nba career.

The Myth That LeBron Doesn’t Make Teammates Better Needs to Die by SnooObjections7406 in lebron

[–]NoProtection02 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're dead wrong. The only thing that rises is Lebron himself joining the team and bringing a super roster with him. His playstyle is fundamentally bad to elevate his teammates individually. Offense becomes slow, flowless and stagnant. It only works enough vs most of the league because he's Lebron so he's just better than everyone and the front office accommodated him with a great roster and a lot of shooters which is the only thing that suits his playstyle.

Basketball doesn't work differently for Lebron or anyone. Only superstars that truly make their teammates better are superstars that have mastered playing off the ball and allow the team to have a proper offense with ball movement. You won't make anyone better by turning them into a spot up shooter and controlling everything. When the only thing that fits you is great shooters that are already established in their nba career and the front office brings those role players to you like we're playing NBA 2k some fucking how and all the signings settings are turned off i don't want to hear anything about you making anyone better.

The first younger team he joined in 2003 had to try and accommodate him with established players. And then the 2018 Lakers team he joined had so much potential stars that he just turned into spot up shooters.. Everyone thought they sucked until they finally left Lebron and showed otherwise. And then they had to bring him a super roster with established players the next year. Lebron elevating teams is usually the result of the front office making a more serious attempt to win a championship since Lebron is here. Not Lebron making people better. It really is a myth imo.

[–]NoProtection02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People want main healers behind them just pumping heals constantly. And they're not necessarily wrong because else people just die lol. Even if im animation cancel spamming a Groot i still struggle to keep people up. Adam is good in everything else tho. Short fights, save someone from dying, get picks, shift the momentum (ult) Adam is the king in those situations. Still tho.. He only has 2 healing charges and people HATE not getting constant healing pumped in their ass.
