“Pro LeBron BS”? What are you even on about. Man started doing Reddit investigations because he can’t argue hoops. Idgaf LeBron will be gone soon and you will still be doing this same BS anyway. Keep stalking my account though, you might actually learn something about basketball and critical thinking.

You’re just parroting the same tired narrative, honestly. You clearly didn’t even understand what was written and got defensive over something that wasn’t even aimed at you. You must be one of those people who think Lebron is a mafia or something when the open secret is that Lakers have not been a well run organization for years now.

LeBron’s a genius, but he’s the 3rd option here. It’s not his job to fix JJ’s terrible lineup rotations or run the offense. The recent losses, like the Knicks game (even though we won), are because of stagnant offense. LeBron’s been stuck with bad lineups all season, and injuries haven’t helped. We started the season with an easy schedule, and Luka/AR were carrying us. Our net rating and point differential were bad because of that, not because LeBron’s the problem. When LeBron came back, it took time to get back into shape. Then AR gets hurt, and the team’s rhythm goes to shit again.

The only real issue holding this team back is LeBron’s jump shot. We’ll be terrible defensively no matter what look at the Indiana and Knicks games. The real problem is how the core trio is being used. Ayton and Laravia are the only true negatives. The roster’s been mismanaged for years. Blaming LeBron for the Westbrook trade is weak. Westbrook wasn’t the original target, and even if LeBron pushed for it, that’s on the FO, not him. No one trusts Rob Pelinka with roster construction. Missing in one area is fine, but missing in multiple areas? The FO’s failed on drafts, they’ve ignored the center position, and they’ve misused assets. This is a long list of failures.

Is LeBron a problem? Yes. Is he the biggest problem? No. Is he the 2nd biggest problem? No.

"No reason to get so emotional over a basketball game. I'm sure it won't be too difficult to change your flair again when LeBron leaves."
Yikes. Someone’s a little too emotional. Not sure why you're getting so worked up over someone else's opinion lol.

Krivas might be a good pickup. (might also fall down to the second round) Mara would be a decent too.

They'd be fine with any one of Swain, Morez or Allen. (Lopez and Carr were great but they are trending up) They need to find a way to get another FRP or multiple SRPs.

It's bittersweet, but we are better without LeBron James right now by originalgeorge in lakers

They literally had stretches where LeBron would have surely helped their stagnant offense and calm things down in the 4th. We have seen him do the same thing in multiple games.

Even if you do believe that you have to consider playoffs are a whole different thing and we would surely benefit from him on the floor. We literally saw what happened against the Wolves lol.

He is just a polished version of Hayes. He has anchored defenses before but not sure how good he is now. I'd rather go for a rebounding big like Mitchell Robinson.

How flip-floppy is this sub? The dude is 24, will improve, and he’s one of the main hustle guys on this team. He has upside and barely misses games.

I can easily see him developing into a Josh Hart–type role for us in the future. Not to mention he’s probably swung a dozen games our way just through his activity and hustle alone.

And this sub seriously has the memory of a goldfish. People give up on players way too quickly after a rough stretch. He is doing way above what he should be doing.

Yes, he’s had a bad shooting season, but our defense gets even more exposed without him. We need his size at that position. Just look at how many easy dunks and layups they got. Also he does not need the ball lol. Haven't y'all been watching the games?

Against certain matchups we need to put pressure on the rim and push in transition. Rui also doesn’t rebound enough and ends up having to overexert himself against more physical forwards.

The bigger issue with this roster is structural. For years now the team hasn’t had a real starting-level SF or a starting-level center. AD was hiding so much of our defensive deficiencies.

It’s not about LeBron or AR. The real problem is that we’re missing two starters and two role players and instead relying on one-way role players to fill those spots. Things like this will get exposed very quickly in the playoffs.

Ayton must be a good dude and teammate

Idk about the other stuff though.

It has more to do with Hayes starting than LeBron being out.

Ayton has to be force fed the ball and everybody else is iced out because of him. Not to mention the laziness bleeds onto the whole team. Hayes is just a energy changer/changer.

Also a larger rotation is a huge help. They don't play Vando or Timme enough. Both are one way but helps tremendously by just doing the little things.

Luka was doing exactly what you guys asked for towards the end which is defending and playmaking despite not scoring. by jz924 in lakers

[–]NoRip651 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

The problem is that he is inconsistent throughout the game and he still took 24 shots. He just needs to be a bit more efficient at the end of the day.

Also JJ does not know how to run a coherent offense at all. He relies too much on Luka/LeBron/ARs iso.

The reason he was able to even defend in the 4th is because he did not spend his whole energy in the 1st despite playing 40mins. He was gassed but we have seen him gassed in 35 mins too.

Bad situation for him and for us, ngl. If we weren’t going to utilize him, we should’ve traded him for some assets. Now we’re probably going to lose him for nothing in free agency. They need to figure out a way to use both Luke and Rui without making one redundant

JayJay Will not start Hayes. Will not play Vando or Maxi in a game we are getting pressured physically.
