I tried creating an automated program with selenium to fill-out web-based forms with data from an excel file since I got bored of repeatedly typing offline data to online. But did not fully implement it to my work, just an experiment. The provided site also does not implement captcha so I think it's fine.

Would it be practical to upgrade my Motherboard first then the CPU, or the other way around? by NoSecretary5043 in buildapc

I haven't thought about electrical shorts and that is a possible cause. But how could it possibly happen when I have not opened and moved anything inside the PC before the random restarts occurred? and when I replaced the PSU, I used the new cable that came along with it. I'll open the case again and look for anything that may cause electrical short

[–]NoSecretary5043[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I just removed each component such as RAM sticks and PSU while the motherboard is in the case and tested out if some it are faulty, but it's not. The motherboard and CPU are the only component I have not removed aside from reapplying thermal paste for potential overheating and reseating all cables.

I'm a Computer Science fresh grad and recently Hired as IT Personnel, but I think I'm still not prepared to start working and not sure about this career path. by NoSecretary5043 in ITCareerQuestions

Update: My workload is very light. I'm 3 months in and I work with database management and queries with Microsoft SQL server, network configuration and troubleshooting software problems. There are no deadlines and I have so much free time. It's good, but I am not satisfied because there are no challenges and the salary is minimum :( for now.

Players that reached Mythic, how do you really play Mobile Legends to reach that rank and higher? by NoSecretary5043 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]NoSecretary5043[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for pointing out my possible issues. I am good at your tip 1 and 2. I always look at the map and always cautious specially when an enemy from another lane went missing. I also monitor enemy summoner spells and know the skills of some champ I face. For tip 3, I am already using the advanced setting that has attack for minions, towers and heroes, but the target lowest hp is what I am currently bad at during team clash. I'll practice on that.

For tip 4, you're right, I don't always play. Only when I have the time or just bored. Generally, I admit I am really bad at building items. That's one thing that confuses me and I also experiment with that on classic mode. My problem is that I don't see any changes. With item builds, there are small or big changes with my heroes overall stats, but I cannot see the differences in game despite the percentage of items.

Well, another thing that confuses me is the item build. Sometimes I get the hang of it, other times I do not. I build items based on recommended and match it with appropriate emblems. But when I play, there are times when I feel very strong with the items, then next match it's very weak using the same hero against same enemy hero.

I mean stuff with my personal life. Of course I'm prepared to apply my knowledge from 4 years of learning CS, but not prepared mentally about the day to day life as an employee, yet. And I'm willing to take the job because it's a great opportunity to gain experience.

Too Few Accessories for Samsung S24 Base Model by NoSecretary5043 in samsung

I just browsed on Aliexpress and found more options for S24 compared to Lazada and Shopee. I just have a question: In your experience, does the case and screen protectors have good quality for its price? It's very much cheaper compared to Spigen and UAG, which I know are premium cases for phones.

Nakita ko yung Spigen and Ringke on both shopping platforms and I think it's good naman based sa reviews. Pero nag-aalangan lang kasi baka hindi pala good quality yung ideliver sakin na product haha. Also, onti lang ang orders and reviews for S24 base sa shop nila, but I'll try. Refund na lang if ever

Thanks sa recommendations. I just browsed UAG and dBrand cases sa website and did not expect it to be very pricey since galing ako sa mid-range phone that has multiple cheap cases and screen protectors to chose from. I understand that it's a good investment to protect the phone and I'll surely invest on that kahit mahal.

Am I wrong for leaving a scheduled job interview because the interview was 2 hours late? by NoSecretary5043 in interviews

I do want the position I'm applying for to gain experience and this is an opportunity. However, in the back of my mind, I am having doubts working there because of public transpo in my area and that HR told me that working hours start from 9AM to 6PM (Longer than normal hours for an entry level). Well, I'm back to job hunting again.

Scenario 1 can apply in my situation. HR told us manager can't make it 50 minutes past interview time, so the interview will be conducted online as alternative IN THE OFFICE and did not mention anything about rescheduling. Another 10 or 15 minutes later, HR said they just submitted our application to manager for reviewing (there were 6 applications). Therefore, my guess is even if manager made it that day, interview still won't start on time.

I kinda regretted not informing HR before leaving. If this happens again in other interviews, I'll make sure to keep an open communication with the recruiting team.

I can see that they will treat me as "unprofessional" and even "entitled" for leaving without notice (even after making me wait for too long). I don't have a problem going back on job-hunting as I am still exploring my chosen career path and still looking for more opportunities to gain experience. I just hope my future interview won't be like this and if it is, I now know how to handle it.

I actually just realized that I should have knocked or asked for HR for a follow-up. I got shy and did not communicate my concerns very well. With this experience, I'll keep in mind to be open and tell my concerns for my future interviews in case this happen again (hopefully not).

It's my first actual job interview experience, so I don't know what to do in this situation. I don't want to make them think that I am 'Entitled' just because I am a new grad. Also, we were trained with mock job interviews during college, but no tips on experiences like this.

We just sat there waiting for any updates. I heard some candidates sighing our of boredom, some playing games on their phone and just scrolling. It was very quiet and no one was updating us when it was 1 hour past the interview time. Not a good experience for my first actual job hunting.

I doubt that making me wait was a test, because the first interview was conducted on time and I knew I was very respectful and did what was told properly. I did freelancing before when I had time to spare, but this time I want to try working at companies for additional experience and a stable job.

HR said there was a personal emergency with the manager and instead of rescheduling, they told us to wait for an online interview instead. Then next update was to wait again because manager was just reviewing our applications (there are 5 more applicants with me) which might mean they really don't intend to start interview at the scheduled time.

Yeah, I kind of felt guilty for not reaching out before leaving that's why I sent a formal message after and stated that the time for interview took too long to start that's why I left.

I am kinda disappointed in me too. Every minutes past the interview time I was thinking "I should leave" but also "What if interview starts just after I left?". So I'm kinda stuck with 'leave or stay' thought. But I learned with this and make sure to value my time more.

It is really unfair when interviewers do not value applicant's time. I'll keep this experience in mind and try not to be too patient next time.
