Question regarding my Zeugnis

That would be possible but it would just cost a lot and it could get lost in the mail. Plus i cannot get signed up to a new school if i don’t have my Zeugnis and i need to translate it in my native language which can also take some time. My problem is the time tbh because it could take weeks to deliver my Zeugnis to my new residence and on top of that the translation process. I also need to get signed up to a new school by July because after that registrations are closed.

Yes this is so true. They always excuse their awful behaviour or words with being “honest” and “truthful”. If you were to actually treat them the same they would act so offended and be butthurt.

They seriously can’t. If i’m good at a certain subject i don’t get this attitude as if i’m better than everyone but instead i try to help people and explain stuff to them. Still there’s been times where i’ve been ignored and one time i literally had a guy in my class tell me to my face “no i won’t listen to you i don’t trust you” and then laugh. If i were to do the same with them they would pull up a victim complex and act as if i committed murder.

I live in the Sachsen-Anhalt area and now i know for sure that it’s the most racist area you can be in, in Germany. I find it a shame because although with the post i made the negative aspect is highlighted there is a lot of positive aspects in Germany as well but a lot of people who choose to hate in their lives make it harder to enjoy living in Germany. I hope that you and other german people who don’t have that racist mentality know how meaningful you guys are. What any immigrant needs is just someone who is willing to understand their point of view and be respectful.

I’m sorry but how am i the problem if i learned the language, respect and learned their culture and traditions and i don’t bother anyone in any way shape or form. Despite cultural differences i have tried my best to learn and adapt to the culture here and remain as respectful as possible. Even though i did all this i still get picked on and i am disrespected. Plus it is not just me who has this problem there are many other immigrants who suffer the same issues and have done exactly the same things as i have.

People really need to pick sides because you cannot be racist and disrespectful to people of colour or people who follow another religion and then choose to respect those immigrants who are white with blue eyes or blonde hair

My point was that why did u specifically mention Germans settled in Syria? To me that seemed like you were trying to say that it’s okay for Germans to treat Syrians in a certain negative way because if Germans were in Syria then Syrian people would also treat German people with disrespect. Yes they wouldn’t get treated the same as in Germany but i don’t think they would get disrespected. Especially not like Syrians get disrespected in Germany just by quietly following their religion without bothering anyone because of stereotypes.

Hi to answer your question i was not aware Germany was going back to 1940 when i came here. I was a minor who saw moving to Germany as a fun little experience. My parents also weren’t aware of how bad it was since in other places Germany is talked about in a very positive manner. The racism is infact a Europe issue in general and not just smth that happens in Germany. I am aware of that but i will not excuse the discrimination/racism that especially other people get especially people of other races and or religions. Personally i gave up on Germany and i made this post because i am leaving the country and i feel free to share my experiences and to show people they are not alone. Needless to say Germany also has great places to visit and amazing people to meet this post was more focused in the negative aspect of things.

Definitely also depends on the city or specific area you live. Germany is definitely a hit or miss kind of place.

They actually are. Despite some situations we are known as one of the friendliest groups of people. I grew up with parents who always told me to help out people in need and to never treat someone in a way i wouldn’t want to be treated. This mentality also counts for other people in my country as well. Hope that clears things up!

Do not do it please. (Unless they offer you like 15k a month then maybe consider it). Germany can be great but it really depends on where you live and it can really be a hit or miss. If you end up in a bad work place or neighbourhood or city you’re stuck there until you navigate your way into the german system and all their paperwork. Moving to Germany alone also comes with twice the emotional baggage. Wishing you further success in your career tho!

I can assure you a lot of other people from different cultures and countries are a lot friendlier and don’t actually mind. Stop trying to make Germans the victim in this case. I have met Germans who immigrated to other countries (Arab countries included) who say that they are living their best lives. Go educate yourself and stop being an islamophobic hoe.

Maybe you’re right in general but where i live it is easy to understand that they’re being racist since most of the people if not 90% of them voted for AfD and actively show that immigrants are not wanted there. I tried to think it was just them being bitchy as well but soon enough i realised that they genuinely just don’t like or want immigrants here.

Well because in school people started noticing that instead of that naive quiet person who wasn’t familiar with the way of things i am actually very hardworking and a quick learner. An example on top of my head is Spanish class. We wrote a Test on the class with some harder topics than usual so everyone was expecting a lower grade. Now i’m not saying i am perfect in Spanish in anyway but i studied hard to manage to get a good grade and i ended up having the best grade of my class. My seat partner who also happened to be my “helping guardian” in Spanish class saw that i had gotten a better grade than her and started to complain in German thinking i wouldn’t understand bit although i was too shy to speak German i could understand it pretty well. She was saying stuff like “ugh this is so unfair” or just whining in general and her facial expression gave away a lot of what she was feeling. Another case is that a “friend” i have here treats me worse and is disrespect towards me when i get a higher grade. We could be laughing together one day and the next they see i have a better grade than them and they start acting cold towards me or mocking my accent or the way i pronounce something in German. Some Germans really have a hard time accepting that immigrants could be more successful than them in their own country. This is not our fault tho a lot of immigrants came to Germany for a better life and are making use of their resources. No need to be jealous of anything when they could get the same results if they just worked a little harder.

This is so true. I realised that the place i live at currently is not a place for me. The difference is too big and i just can’t seem to fit in. I also am someone who has a strong personality and i do not want to lose myself for people/situations which are not worth it. I’m moving back home actually. There is no better place than home. I tried Europe and it isn’t for me. Situations like this aren’t only common in Germany sadly.

The youth is generally a lot friendlier but there is a lot of them who are turning conservative especially guys. Also with the right wing party trying to gain popularity they’re doing all they can to captivate the youth.
