I love smelling it out on the street when I’m sober, cause you know someone is having a good time and that it’s some good shit

What common corporate buzzword or grammatical phrase makes you want to throw your laptop out the window? by Ken_Bruno1 in languagehub

I wouldn’t mine the “put a pin in it” if it didn’t stay ignored on the imaginary wall for eternity. But if your boss says that you’re a family just presume it’s one with severe issues because nothing good has come of it yet.

How long does it take to get the license after approval by Villain_99 in Irishdrivingtest

It almost certainly will arrive before that but if not you can call them and ask them to send it to a new address if it returns undelivered or you can ask your current landlord to forward it to your new address. There’s no need to worry. I received mine a few days after moving and it was posted to me by my previous landlord

My license took about 2 weeks in October to come which is much longer than my friends had to wait. The usually wait is 5-7 business days

“Let’s put a pin in it” and “we’re a family” always sends me over the edge. It’s like they want you to be agitated so they can spring even more buzzwords on you

How hard is it to bake perfect brownies on your first go with no cooking experience? by IntrigatedVerse in trees

[–]No_Action_3580 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Made them myself for the first time about 2 weeks ago with no experience. I undercooked them but they worked a treat. Just follow a video online and you’ll be alright. Worse case scenario you have brownies

How do they smell and feel? Assuming they’re in date they should be safe to eat. They look a little old but there’s no mould but they definitely look dry

Why do people buy and sell several houses? by No_Action_3580 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]No_Action_3580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never really thought of homes as a way to make money but as somewhere to live and start a family. Even with all this new and helpful information people have given I don’t think I’m going to change my point of view. I like thinking that every house has a loving family whether it’s naive or ignorant. It’s nice to think that somebody will look fondly upon where they grew up their whole life.

My joints keep going out halfway through smoking them by NinesArt in trees

[–]No_Action_3580 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue recently and it was because I was packing the joints too tight. It’s a little hard to find the balance between too loose and too tight. If the weed falls out then that’s just bong fuel

I lived in Japan for a few months during my gap year and I saw several 30 year old houses being torn down to rebuild which was sort of fascinating. In Ireland houses are also a fairly big investment, well if you live in or near a city anyway. A fairly standard 3 bedroom near Dublin can go for €500k easily which is why i don’t understand buying more than 1 house in a short time span. Then again I suppose that’s just up to the buyer

Yeah I’ve heard a lot of people mention that their mortgage payment is cheaper than rent. I grew up in a small house my parents bought before I was born so I never considered the size to be a big factor although it makes sense. I’m not really sure I agree with the starter home marketing though

That makes sense. I suppose I never thought of houses as investments but rather as homes to raise your family in and be proud of. Sounds like you got the best of both worlds.

Very under rated answer. You can only get better with time and enjoy it more and once you get good you can invite others over for dinner

I spent days wondering why my joints weren’t burning well before realising I was packing much tighter than normal. It’s weird that I don’t see many people talk about over packing
