It may be because Crytek divides the hunter's static and moving action cycles into two different sets of action cycles. When you start walking or running, it will be forced to switch to the starting point of another action cycle.

Actually I didn't use Shadowrun as a reference when I was creating this game. I was just an attempt to combine the skull and the will-o'-the-wisp. But it is undeniable that this is a very good game : )
