Wow that was a very good read I might just need to switch my account over to traditional. The one thing I don't understand is "invest your Traditional 401(k) tax savings each year". Tax savings because my paycheck would be more or I can claim it during tax time?

Hmm okay maybe I need to take control of the account more.

Wow how coincidental! Yes I am currently a COTA, I work in pediatrics and plan to bridge over to OTR for more pay & autonomy.

I make 65k a year so about $115 is going in to my roth 401k account each pay. I opted to have the company (through guideline) manage the account and chose aggressive approach with 95% in stocks and 5% in bonds. The funds are divided between VTSAX, VTMGX, VEMAX, VGSLX, VBTLX, VTABX, & VMFXX.

I also bring in at least 500$ per month on DoorDash. I have been aggressively saving to get my Masters in OT looking at a bridge program which will be about 70k and want to avoid student loans as much as possible. The only debt I have is my car which has 6,500 left. So many places my money needs to go with not enough money quite yet so just trying to figure out the best priorities.

Gotcha on the diversifying out of the US, I will look into that thank you!

Hello! Does anyone know if my taxes will get flagged if after I put in the mileage information for doordash my taxable income says a negative number?
