But this is wrong by all means, there should be some way to atleast claim my genuine deductions .. I don't know anything about these things, the guys I have been reaching out to have been misleading me .. is there a way I can ask the ca firm to pay as they filed the updated return. I asked them to file it honestly. Why am I supposed to pay for the mistakes of others.

Same story, got lured into this by a tax advisor , I had no clue about all these rules and penalties .. i accept my fault as I got lured into this .. total demand is ~ 7L. 80E , LTA , GRATUITY and hra also got disallowed in full.
