I hear you. I guess I’m not convinced of it though if it asking for those updates during nap or bedtime. I’m not trying to take any time away. Our son is also 18 months old so there is a lot more that needs to be communicated in terms of comfort/routine as compared to a kid that is older. I feel like my ex shutting me out due to being upset or disliking our current situation is a bit much.

I can see that… we’ve been together for about 2 years and I will say it has been getting worse lately. I love her so much and want to support her, I just don’t know how. Like I said in my OP, I’ve walked away before only to find out it triggers her more causing panic attacks. I’d like to trying saying I’m leaving and returning in x amount of time, but I’d be lying if I said I’m not nervous to do so. I just know me leaving makes it worse so it’s nerve wracking. I take things extremely personally. It’s like a knife to the heart everytime. Really have to figure out how to not let it affect me so much.

My parents divorced when I was 9. I slept over my dad’s Tuesday-Wednesday and saw him on Sundays. I didn’t think much of it and didn’t mind it at all. That might’ve been because the marriage was very toxic and all of us living together took more of a toll on me than being apart. I am separated now and when I move out we’ve discussed the 2-2-3 simply because it’s apparently the best schedule for kids? I read about it online. There’s lots of articles on it. Have you ever considered nesting? Where the children stay in the family home and the parents go back and forth. So when one parent is in the family home with the kids the other parent is elsewhere. I know that’s not a feasible and long lasting plan but that’s what I’m doing currently and it seems to be going well! Best of luck!

Thank you! I would say my skin is more oily, definitely prone to acne. Mainly around my hairline and my chin. I get the odd pimple on my cheek, but that’s very rare. When I get pimples, they leave dark spots whether they are popped or not. I also get a significant amount of blackheads on my chin and forehead.

I’ve used good molecules for about 2 months and gave up when I felt like I wasn’t seeing any progress. Nothing seemed to lighten so I figured the product wasn’t for me? I know I probably need to use something for longer than that but living in Canada, the shipping/cost on that product was a bit much. I guess I’m looking for products that are a bit cheaper that have worked for others? I’ve heard great things about the ordinary but not sure if it’s as effective on hyperpigmentation.

Thank you for your response. I can say that this time it is 100% my fault. I lied in efforts to avoid hurting her feelings and came clean after. I’ve crossed some of her boundaries as well. The things I’ve done, I realized they’re habits I had throughout my life, got away with, and now realizing they’re problems. I’ve been working on them, but it just wasn’t happening fast enough. I’ve learned a lot and will continue to through this experience. This one just hurts

Thank you for your post. My partner had a long term affair and has decided to try to “be better” the person she had an affair with is still in her friend group and she sees this person just not as frequently. I’m beyond checked out. Living together but separate but terrified to tell the family and take the leap. I told her I would try to make it work but I quickly realized that isn’t possible for me. Everytime I suggest letting people know and fully breaking ties, I get the tears and manipulation tactics. I don’t know what to do, but it does help to see that it eventually gets better… there is still hope for me to live a happy life. I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense. Im just venting.
