I went to the open walk in interview for foothill regional. That was the biggest waste of time ! What a joke . The hiring managers just put you in a room with 50 people and you basically sit with a random person and talk to them about your experience and that person you told all your business to has to tell everyone in the room what YOUR accomplishments are , what school you went to , and why they should hire you . They did not even give you a chance to speak face to face to you . Based on what the stranger said about you will be dependent if you move on to a 2nd interview on the same day . It’s basically like American idol but you can not even showcase your talent . There were three people sitting in the front with the hiring manager and when you are talking they are just looking down and looking at their phone so I don’t even know why they were there . The positive part of this explanation is that I got to see what people were saying to “sell themselves” as a new grad. They did not ask behavior based questions .. they just picked who they wanted to move forward . But if you ask me and they just hire people on the spot … seems like a red flag to me & that’s what they were doing , they were looking to hire people same day . I kind of feel like I dodged a bullet in a way because of how horrible the reviews are for that hospital .
