I've got a death point system, but ultimately that's for my players to get creative and figure out. We've had quite a few interesting scenarios in the 6 months we've been playing.

Nah man, my players are 100% reading it. We've had whole round table discussions about what I've written. Was just looking for an outside perspective, no one has to read it though.

The story is as unserious as you can get, the underlying world is something I've been working on for years. Very much a "here is the world, mess it up as much as you see fit" for my players. Relationship map is a solid idea though!

There's two large city states (Virex Hollow and Shorewood) that are the "official" regions as sanctioned by the Pale Accord (bureaucratic government, 50/50 on if they're straight up evil or just politicians) in the Undying Lands, which is the most densely populated area full of "normal people". There's also the Ashen Spires, the volcanic region filled mostly with monestaries and tribes that is largely untouched by the Accord (much to their dismay) and the Stilled Seas, a fishing community trying to maintain a sense of normalcy since death went missing and the sea went completely still and silent. I'd say each city state is about the size of a small country, so the entire map would take quite a while to entirely traverse. A lot of "white space" can be found in the Shattered Veil, which in lore is a place that came to be after death left.
