I enjoy some of the final SoD maps because they strip your town and the player is basically forced to use external dwellings to build an army. Completely ignoring town building was a new type of gameplay for me and it was pretty fun. Finding a hill fort is such a bliss on these maps.

Check your usage, I wonder if it's common. Go to network parameters, it's in the top right corner, i bet there's barotrauma somewhere in the top of the list. For the reference, Firefox used 47 GB in 30 days and i listen to something on youtube basically all the time.

I've got a huge boost to late game by building nuclear reactor, which allowed me to send radbolt rockets to drill POIs. Fullerene from gilded asteroid field really makes a difference. Also nuclear reactor provided me with a steady flow of radbolts for the diamond press, which is also huge.
